Was like any good hotel when you need a place to sleep overnight- two things that stood out to me though- beds were very comfortable and the hallways smelled alittle funny almost like cigarettes.

My mistake — I didn’t realize “Studio 6” with a totally different logo was just a Motel 6 wearing a mask.

We stayed here for a one night stop from SD to CA. We saw the listing and did a little research since there was only one other review when we booked. I’m sooooo glad we did. Since we were traveling with a truckload of stuff, we wanted someplace safe where we could park close and keep an eye on things. Amy was super helpful with letting me know which room would be best to book. We booked the corner room and it was beautiful. You can tell they put a ton of care into restoring the building and outfitting the rooms. All the details were beautiful and definitely felt like quality! The bed and pillows are super comfortable. The kitchen was extremely convenient and well stocked. The bathroom was super clean and shower had incredible water pressure. Having the separate living room was nice because we were able to enjoy a meal and watch some tv without sitting on the bed. After a long day stuck in the truck, it was a wonderful space to relax and recharge. They have a binder with a great story about the history of the building and local recommendations and menus. We normally stay at little America, but since they took out their hotel rooms, we looked to Green River just a few miles down the highway. We are so glad we did and hope to make this a regular stop on our annual summer drive to South Dakota.

Property was well maintained, and it was great to have a freezer for our blue ice packs. Guests do have to bring their own paper dishes and cutlery.
