Montana Gateway
Our stay here was nice. The cabin matches the description well. Having a four wheel drive car is pretty much a must to get to cabin but need to watch sizing of car to get across bridge. My husband and I experienced this cabin with 8 inches of snow. The area the cabin is in, is beautiful!! If you are staying in the colder months, you will want to prepare & bring wood for wood fire stove since no central heat. Overall Cabin us great. Bonus location being near so many hiking opportunities, Big Sky, and West Yellowstone. Only dislike was the company it rents through. They do not use VRBO messaging & do not have messaging on their website. You can only call them. Not easy to get ahold of them at all.

September Stay
Was a great location. Easy drive to West Yellowstone and only nine minutes from Big Sky for other activities. Beautiful quiet spot on the Gallatin River and across with a quaint bridge. Go to bed and wake up to the sound of the river as it flows over rocks. Nice little wood burner for the chilly nights of September.

Girls' Trip September 2023
The cabin itself was wonderful. The directions for getting there were too vague. We arrived after dark, which wasn't our intent, but we took the wrong path after finally finding the bridge to cross. We had to back down a steep area at night and guess at which way we should try next. The path had one reflector and no other visible markings to tell us where we were and there were no lights whatsoever. It was a nightmare! Would highly recommend making these changes so that others can find their way easier than we did. The microwave's front glass facing had to be pushed up into place every time it was used or the door wouldn't shut. The lockbox fir the key didn't work so we were unable to get the key out. No accurate directions for doing so and there were two lockboxes. We couldn't find the garbage can we were supposed to deposit our garbage in. The one at the end of the drive wouldn't open so we had to leave our bag of trash outside of it.

Perfect location

Great Riverfront Home
We really loved staying here. The house was adorable and perfect for our family. My boys had a great time fishing on the river. The house was close enough to Big Sky to get whatever you need. It was about a 40 minute drive to Yellowstone as well. Thanks for sharing your little bit of Montana with us!

Vacation
Cabin is very cute. You do have to go over a very small kind of sketchy one lane low water bridge. Unfortunately we were there during the floods at Yellowstone and we had to evacuate the cabin. We were not warned and almost didn't get out due to the road being flooded. I know natural disasters happen but it was quite scary. I would not recommend this house for anyone that has any fears of bridges. No TVs present in the house. Nice woodstove that works well. Nice washer and dryer and grill on the porch. Very small dishwasher. Overall a very comfortable Cabin as long as you're OK with the bridge. We rented through Vacasa and they were wonderful when we had to relocate. I would highly recommend this company.

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful.
We loved our stay at your cabin. The scenery and location were beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was well stocked with towels and cooking utensils. It did need a little bit better cleaning and replacement of some burned out light bulbs.

Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay at this property. It was perfect for our family of 5, which included 3 boys. They loved their bedroom loft area with the toys. It gave them some space (and us as well) for them to spread out and play as we had been in Yellowstone for multiple days in understandably smaller lodging. This home felt like home. Loved the collection of CDs (the selection was very nostalgic) We cooked, relaxed and listened to music - a great respite from our trip on the road. It’s proximity to Big Sky was a big plus as the restaurants there were wonderful. Would rebook!

The proximity to the river was amazing. The location was perfect for the variety of places we wanted to visit (trail heads, Yellowstone, rafting, etc) but we were also happy to be away from the crowds and planned communities.

Awesome cabin!!
The cabin was as beautiful in person as depicted in the pics. It’s stocked with all the necessities (towels, pots, pans, etc) plus plenty of games for having fun with family and a fire pit located in the perfect place for enjoying the outdoors. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, but property needs work
We loved the location and the cabin was nice; however, there were several things that were not clean. We received a text the day we arrived saying that we have taken extra cleaning measures/precautions, but it didn’t appear that this was the case. There was a light fixture in the kitchen directly above the oven covered in bugs and gunk. The light in the bathroom directly above the shower had the same thing. Several areas in the home needed touch up on the walls too. Don’t get me wrong, the view was amazing and we loved the access to the river and remote location but was just disappointed in the cleanliness and interior of the home. We also had issues with communication to the owners. We had sent several messages and never received a response. Had to call Vacasa to get some of our questions answered.

Perfect Hideaway!
This house was a perfect hideaway location. We loved the river and bridge crossing to get to it. The location was ideal to be close to area attractions but not have too far to drive any direction. Having wifi was great too after our busy days of adventuring. We will definitely consider staying again.

Everything was clean and the location was very nice. I was not able to get the ice maker to work, though we got by without it. The river was a soothing sound to hear when going to sleep. The WiFi allowed us to stream entertainment on our laptop at night. No Tv.

Perfect getaway cabin
This was a wonderful cabin. Had everything a family needs and the surrounding river and woods were beautiful. A short drive to Yellowstone it provided the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Cabin on Gallatin River
This property has a beautiful view of the Gallatin River. We have an 11 year old daughter who enjoyed the loft sleeping area. I appreciated the extra linens/towels. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on a return trip.

Bridge a concern.
There is a bridge you need to cross over the river. Check to see if there is another bridge to use. This one is frail and questionable. Cabin very nice for a family. No hair dryer.

Nice Place just a few things wrong
The Cabin is nice, its right on the river and the views are to Die for but Our internet was out for almost 3 full days. We had 0 Cell service and had no way to contact anyone if there was an emergency. There is no TV, which was fine with me but my kids were board at night with no Wifi and no TV. The Cabin had HUGE black ants throughout it. We killed them as we found them. Last huge issue was the Washer. It did not work. No water would go into the machine. It was frustrating as we planned to have a place with Washer and dryer to do laundry before the next leg of our trip.

Super relaxing
We thoroughly enjoyed our late September stay.... even with snow! House is large clean and well stocked and extremely comfortable. If we were to come to this area again we would rent again. Only suggestion to the owner is to provide either small kindling or an axe. It was a perfect weekend for a fire.... but there was no paper nor kindling to get one started. Just larger chunks. Thanks!

Honeymoon
The property is as pictured... beautiful! The bridge was as expected and previously described. We loved the view and the neighbors dog. The only downside is the cleanliness of the cottage. Every layer of our bedding was soiled on two separate beds. The shower was also filthy. We actually left a day early, sadly. If the cleanliness improved it’d Be a great vacation spot!

Great location for Yellowstone
This cabin was great for our family traveling to Yellowstone and Lewis & Clark Caverns. It was not great for personal water adventures. Unless you pay a guided service, don't plan on rafting or kayaking. Cleanliness was an issue. For the amount charged for a cleaning fee, I expected a throughly cleaned house. Bottom of tub was dirty, oven mitts were caked with food, cob webs in doorways, pods stuck in clothes washer soap drawer, lots of dead bugs in window seals. There was no good cleaner to wash to tub and the vacuum was so full we couldn't vacuum. There is no pull out sofa bed, just the grey blob thing pictured in the upstairs loft. This place is very beautiful and peaceful. Our family enjoyed the time we spent there. I would recommed to people who will be out exploring, people who like to fly fish or just sit by the river. Not for families that have kids that want to play in the water.

AMAZING Place!
We booked this place and thought there must be a catch. The price was very reasonable for the area. We were a bit nervous that we would get there and not find the peace and quiet we'd been looking for, but that was absolutely not the case. It was everything that we'd hoped and more. The location next to the river was perfect. It was serene and quiet. The home was well stocked and super clean. Check/in and check/out process was easy. We spent most of our time outdoors exploring the area, cooking over the fire, reading by the river and chatting with the neighbor and his friendly dog (who was very quiet). No barking dogs or loud noise in this area. When we did find ourselves indoors we were very comfortable. This home is beautiful and has everything you'd need to make your stay enjoyable. It was perfect for a our family of four. It would be great to have a little guide book at the house with the best kept secrets on area hikes, best local fare, etc. For those coming from Bozeman, I would highly recommend you buy groceries there before you drive to Big Sky. The prices in Big Sky are nearly triple (something we didn't plan for). Of course this only applies if you plan on cooking of course. We didn't want to spend our time in a restaurant when we had a great house on the river so we chose to cook. We are already planning our next getaway so we can come back to visit. There isn't a thing we would change about this gem of a home.

Great place
This is a great cabin with everything you need right and more right by a gorgeous river. The only downfall is it could have been cleaner. The bunk bed did not appear to have clean sheets.

Bridge....
Oh my god for city slickers driving over the bridge was challenging. But what a awesome place to stay. Didn’t smell like a wood fire abode like most cabins that would cause asthma issues. Had everything a person would need!

Loved this cabin!
We enjoyed our 3 nights at this wonderful cabin!! The location is 10 minutes from Big Sky and 50 mins from Yellowstone. The pictures are exactly as the cabin actually was. There’s plenty of utensils and pots and pans if you want to cook. It’s quiet and pretty isolated on the Gallatin River. WiFi worked great and we streamed a movie on Netflix since there is no TV. Washer and dryer were definitely a plus, as well! We have zero complaints and we will definitely stay here again if in the area. One note, the bridge across the Gallentin River is very narrow, but our Nissan Frontier truck made it across no problem.
