Estuvimos como en casa
Trato personal inmejorable. Muy buen desayuno. Perfecto para ir con niños. Bien comunicado, se llega al centro en diez minutos en un autobús que para en la puerta.

Con encanto y amabilidad
Recomendable al 100%. X 100% Esta a 40 minutos andando del centro, hay un autobús que deja solo a 3 minutos andando del Hotel, seria bueno una información sobre esto, número de autobus que pasa, donde para, es el único defecto que encuentro. Los dueños encantadores y el hotel al detalle.

Didn't see when booking that this is a B&B. Found out after arriving thats what it was. There is limited parking here, so if there isn't a spot in front of the house (4 total) then you have to park in the drive under the tree. The entry and exit is desigened to direct you a certain direction so it makes you take wider turns which was a little hazardous. The bed was nice but took up most of the room. So if you need a lot of space for luggage you wont have it. The bathroom is big enough for 1 person with a small stand up shower. If you have used one before its not a big deal, but could be difficult for a foreigner. The staircase is very narrow, so again, if you have a lot of luggage its hard to go up and down and kind of hazardous. Breakfast was good, Marie is very nice.

Glad you enjoyed my company and your bed.At point of booking you should immediately see from gallery and price that this is not a hotel .( always important to read the small print ). Regarding the exit onto the main road you are not supposed to take a right turn. The arrow points left. Yes your car was parked outside our home just 20 steps away..In a hotel you would probably be underground and pay 20e for overnight parking.Thank you. Marie.

The hostess was pleasant and this property seems to be busy/full due to the location near Galway. The room is very small and you have to carry your suit cases up the stairs to the second floor. Bathroom is small but OK, with a shower. Parking is first come first served. Very tight if you come late in the evening. Breakfast was included and the parking was free.

We had a lovely stay. It was a busy weekend at the house with lots of guests. Rooms were comfortable. All very close together.

Nice house, caring staff.
There was mistake with the days of my trip but Almara House was very efficient and she solved the problem sending us to another hotel with similar facilities. She drove us to the new hotel and she was in contact with us to know if eveything was ok.

While our stay was OK, the cost for B & B was disproportionate to others we stayed at. Rooms were clean but very small, parking was very limited. Location was away from downtown and not very covenient.

Would absolutely stay again!
What an absolutely enjoyable stay! Everything was pristine and breakfast was great. Marie was so kind and even called a local music shop to make sure they would be open when we came to visit!

A gorgeous retreat in Galway
What an absolute treasure our host was. We had the most gorgeous loft bedroom and wished we could have stayed longer!!! Very well appointed, spotless and super comfortable. Delicious breakfast - we felt spoilt. Great value and perfect for exploring Galway, particularly if you have a car. Would love to return and highly recommend to all!

It was lovely. Very welcoming, super clean and very comfortable. The room was impeccable and the breakfast was something you would not expect in a B and B. Definitely if I am in the area I will stay there again.

The best place to stay in Galway
I was in Ireland for my son’s wedding .. staying at Almara house was by far the best place we stayed. Marie the owner was incredible.. the home was beautiful and clean 10 stars .. I will book here every time.

Couple 3 day visit to Galway.

Marie the owner was very helpful and made very nice breakfast. THe property is too far from Galway to walk but there is a busstop right outside and there are frequent buses into town. to get back =just pay attention to the schedule...

Simplesmente maravilhoso este B&B. Além das instalações serem de muito bom gosto, além de limpas e confortáveis, a localização conveniente, com o ponto de ônibus a poucos passos, a anfitriã é excepcionalmente gentil, prestativa e interessada em proporcionar aos hóspedes a melhor experiência da cidade e região. Ela ofereceu-nos carona, pois estávamos sem carro, até a estação de trem, no centro. Não tenho como elogiar de forma suficiente. Nota 1000!

Excellent, 5 Star, although out of the centre of Galway it’s on a bus route only a very short walk from this property, with frequent buses . We would recommend without hesitation.

Good, but Basic
This is a basic bed and breakfast, but lovely and clean with great breakfasts and real brewed coffee. The city center was a short taxi ride or bus ride with the bus stop right in front. The bathroom was very small, but the bed was comfortable. The innkeeper was very helpful and gave great advice about what sights we should see.
