“Great hotel, but bathroom door hard to close and bathroom had stray hairs in shower and on the lotion dispenser”

“GOOD: Hot water and water pressure BAD: Everything else….visited Georgetown for a family event so I decided to stay overnight. I wasn’t expecting too much but I damn sure wasn’t expecting what I got either. After checking in, I entered the room and pulled back bed spread. It looked like they just made the bed and didn’t change the sheets due to all of the stains that were visible. The floor wasn’t swept or mopped. I checked out the bathroom and the floor was dirty and there were no towels. Went……

“We had a great stay at the Baxter Brewhouse. The place is clean, quaint and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and we slept so well. The convenience to the boardwalk area can’t be beat. They have snacks, drinks and beer! (Though we weren’t able to get the beer going-not a big deal for us as we are not big beer drinkers) The shared bathroom was very clean, we didn’t see any other guests, but if we had, it would have been fine. I would highly recommend staying here if in Georgetown!”

“Never in my life have I heard of a hotel pool opening at 10 am and closing at 7 PM. Yes you read that right. 7 PM.”

“Everything was okay. We had a puppy with us which made it challenging because we were put on the 18th floor and at busy times people moving in and out the elevator would stop numerous times going down and most of the time no one could get on because it was full. The dog park next door was nice but it would be better if lazy people would clean up after there dog. Elevator doors were wet most of the time because no one can read the signs to dry off when leaving the pool areas. If you get up early……

“I would avoid staying here if possible. The interior feels dated, and the common areas are poorly maintained. The elevator doors were dirty, and the ice machine on the third floor was out of order. Although my room had been updated and was fine, I received no housekeeping service during my three-night stay. The complimentary breakfast was very poor. The day after I checked out, I discovered I had been overcharged by $150. I contacted the property right away but still have not received a response……

“The room was clean, bathroom updated. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. The breakfast was a perfect way to start the day although it is a old hotel which you must take into consideration it was perfect for two nights pool was clean furniture.”
