Stayed for 7 nights and my room was never cleaned. Inside the room there was no wardrobe or chest of drawers to hang my clothes. There was no shower gel or shampoo or mug to drink the complimentary coffee. The room had not been painted for years looking at the colour disfiguration and dirt. Too few staff. A chinese woman was the only person always on duty. Breakfast was ok and the bar too. Other friends had better and cleaner rooms. Very disappointing considering I paid 3 months in advance over £400 English pounds. Overall it was a good job I only stayed in the room to sleep.

Lovely property situated in a very quiet area along the harbour. The staff are very personable and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean with balconies that overlook the pools. We have stayed here once before and will return again.

I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. The room was very dusty, which triggered my allergies badly—we had trouble breathing in the middle of the night. There was also visible mold in the shower, which added to the discomfort. The layout of the hotel is quite maze-like. Depending on where your room is, you might have to walk a long way from the elevator, which can be inconvenient, especially with luggage. On a more positive note, the surrounding area was decent, but I recommend doing some research beforehand to get a better sense of what's nearby. I didn’t try any of the restaurants or cafes in the area, so I can’t speak to that part of the experience. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you're sensitive to dust or mold, or if you're looking for easy access to your room.

There was NO room service for clean towels or rubbish removal, which is bad when I stayed four nights, but thankfully had brought my own towels and removed my own rubbish. There was also NO cutlery or coffee mugs and only paper plates & bowls, but the actually Resort is beautiful and very luxurious

Car park was extremely smelly, smelt like bore water. My partner and I let reception know our shower head was broken and completely cracked (it was leaking out badly) and this wasn’t dealt with after staff said they would. Showers also had a lot of mould in the corner. I was looking forward to using the bath but after seeing the shower I definitely passed on that one. The property is in a very well to do area but it definitely needs a renovation.

Clean, tidy, safe and right by the marina so lovely view. Kids made use of the pool. Family friendly restaurant downstairs and a bar. Shops just a 2 min drive. Free parking right outside….cant complain. Overall we enjoyed our stay☺️

The overall state of the venue was poor,from the rubbish around the pool to the bad upkeep of the rooms,and the terrible post sale support.Our first night was uncomfortable due to the air-conditioning not working,not to mention the tv also didn't work.A very strong/pungent odour coming from the bathroom.This was all offered as an upgrade for an extra $10,I would hate to have seen the standard room!Would not be recommending this hotel to friends.

I wish I had checked the reviews here before booking but we had stayed before and it was great for the price. Unfortunately new managers. The room we were allocated smelled so strongly of cigarettes that it was impossible to stay. No other accommodation available, no refund, and no interest at all from management who walked away. We had to find other accommodation. No way to contact them except via mobile - which is never answered or picked up and straight away hung up so no refund provided. DO NOT STAY HERE. Read the reviews first

They misinformed of a full house at the Gold Coast which was only 1 room. The owner had informed Expedia of the mistake and they were told it had been fixed. They had done nothing. I was forced to find other accomodation because my daughter which is on the spectrum felt incredibly uncomfortable. The home owner was fantastic and refunded their portion immediately. Expedia on the other hand kept their fees and no offer to help with costs of other accommodation. Disgusted with Expedia.

We had no soap. The hand shower was broken. The light was unsafe with no cover and in arms reach for breaking bulb. No milk, only one tea bag. The curtains were all ripped and dirty from closing them. Sorry we don't have photo's we just wanted out of there. We are now at the Meriton and it is like another world after Hope Island, just amazing.

I liked the simplicity of the property and how it provides all basic amenities including a working tv (the kitchen is slightly small), the neighbours are also good and quiet with a beautiful view of the river. The staff members were also friendly and helpful. The only thing I did not like was how confusing the locks were else wise everything was good.
