Everything below par, far below. Disgusting, bad and unfriendly. (Some of the personnel very nice though) Will never ever go there again unless change of owner

Skiën tot aan het hotel. Zeer goede lockers voor je skimateriaal. Ondanks het grote hotel, was het toch rustig in de gangen. Alleen in het restaurant was het soms te druk en lawaaierig. Overvloed van eten.

The whole experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived at the reception and got very little information from the staff there to our departure. We arrived on a Thursday and were only given a sheet of paper with the list of services available and floors. We weren't given any information on skiing, or even told that it had closed for the day. When we asked again at reception the next morning about kids skiing lessons we saw on the kids club wall we were told that's only for those who arrive on a Sunday. Nobody told us there are tours available for non skiers, we only saw a note on a board on our last night. The restaurant is a nightmare, the level of noise makes it impossible to have a conversation over dinner so for us it became a mission to get food into us as fast as we could and leave. And staff don't clear plates until you leave, so if there is 4 of you in a small square table, by the time you get your main course you are surrounded by dirty plates and trying to make space for the kids. There is a soft drinks machine which was basically always empty apart from water and some kind of fake Fanta type orange that sprayed everywhere.. After we ate our dinner as quickly as we could, we would go into the theatre area which was generally full of screaming kids but still so much quieter than the restaurant and have an after dinner drink there. The shows are all in Italian even though there are a few non Italian speaking guests but they are never included.

Overall stay was fantastic, New Year’s Eve was spoiled by the restaurant manager! We were told we did not have a reservation for New Year’s Eve and was asked to leave very rudely😡 after being embarrassed in front of the whole restaurant, we decided to leave without having the New Year’s Eve meal. So thank you very much to the manager of the restaurant at the th pila.

It is a very noisy hotel. Entertainment, “Butlins” style, every night until midnight which can be easily heard in most of the rooms due to having an open stairwell and no doors to each floor. The food was good, plenty of choice, but you do have to battle through many people to get it. Excellent location on the piste with a superb locker room (although there is a charge to use it). If crowds and entertainment are not your thing, this probably isn’t the hotel for you. However, for location, it is perfect.

Posizione perfetta per sciare in famiglia....
Posizione perfetta per sciare, anche per chi, come noi, è partito senza auto. Si arriva con la telecabina direttamente da Aosta. Servizi tipici del villaggio, con animazione per tutte le età, particolarmente indicata per i bambini che sciano, vengono seguiti tutto il giorno. Pasti a buffet abbastanza vari. Unica nota negativa, all'arrivo della telecabina non abbiamo trovato nessun modo per raggiungere la struttura se non a piedi, e con tutti i bagagli non è stato agevole. Non sarebbe male prevedere un transfer. Esperienza da ripetere.

SO LOUD AND NOISY THAT OUR EARS ARE STILL RINGING!
This place has a great location - truly ski in ski out. Slopes are decent but the alps can deliver much better. The service is friendly which is a BIG PLUS for being Northern Italy. The room is ok but 4 persons (2 kids in a foldable bunk bed squeezed in blocking the window) is reaaally small. Nice with new towels each day. But BUT this place is total out of this world chaos packed with Italian families yelling screaming SHOUTING!!! I mean really. Eating (decent food) at the giant food court/restaurant was a crazy experience. Feels like sitting in a school cantine - with a mix of grown ups and kids all shouting like kids! We rushed in to eat and had to run out each time. The acoustics are terrible and people are really shouting all the time which is an unreal experience. Kids shouting throwing food (music so loud in the kids play room it is not surprising that they are becoming deaf) I've been travelling to Italy all my life so I am well aware of the culture but this was out of this world. We felt more stressed up after a week here than beforehand and need a break now after this bizarre experience. Really a pity. Major warning to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday break.

Buona soluzione
Ottima posizione, camera ampia e pulita, ristorante e ski room rinnovati. Ci sarebbe bisogno di una ristrutturata nelle aree comuni, a partire dagli ascensori, la palestra e la piscina. Buono il cibo ed ho apprezzato la possibilità di poter avere a colazione caffè e cappuccino del bar e non delle macchinette automatiche

Weekend lungo a Pila
Week end lungo a Pila, struttura super comoda perché direttamente sulle piste, cena w colazione molto buona con molta scelta al buffet, animazione super, la gestione dei bambini con i corsi sci annessi è ottima. La struttura è da rinnovare, la piscina una pozza molto al di sotto delle aspettative. Comodo anche il noleggio attrezzature sci direttamente nella struttura. Bella esperienza

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica a bordo postale. Nel complesso ben tenuta ed organizzata, in pieno stile villaggio turistico. Quello che per me non funziona è il personale, troppo giovane ed inesperto, fornisce solo le informazioni base all’ospite che si vede costretto a chiedere. Assolutamente bocciata la moquette che nel 2019 non si può vedere!

Hotellet ligger helt perfekt, med ski in/out mulighed. Hotellet er lettere slidt og især værelserne kunne trænge til lidt renovering. Hotellets restaurant er ikke videre imponerende. Vi har boet der 3 gange og kommer gerne igen.

Esperienza che consiglierei a tanti. La struttura è un po' vecchiotta ma pulita. Ristorazione molto varia e di qualità. Animazione top! Sicuramente il punto forte è la possibilità di uscire dall hotel con gli sci addosso!!

Overraskende godt.
Værelset var fint og maden i restauranten var ret god. Vi havde valgt fuld kost, og hver dag var der nye og spændende retter. Lidt for enhver smag. Hotellet ligger også lige ud til pisten, så man kommer hurtig på ski. Vi blev positivt overrasket.

Enjoyable weekend stay
Based on reviews we had a few concerns about TH Pila, but we had a very enjoyable stay. The position is excellent ski in ski out and a perfect location onto the slopes. The restaurant area is busy and a bit canteen like but food quality is very good and there is plenty of choice. Wine prices very reasonable too. Staff very friendly and overall I recommend and would definitely return.
