My sister and I recently stayed at this lovely property while exploring nearby Yosemite National Park and had a wonderful time. It is conveniently located just inside the main gate of a community that lies a short ways off the road that runs straight into the park. It's about a thirty minute drive to Yosemite, and another thirty minutes to the Valley floor from there, but it's an easy, beautiful drive to make each day. The location felt safe and private without being secluded.
This well-appointed rental included everything we could need and then some -one of the best supplied properties I've stayed in. Everything we went looking for during our stay we found with ease. All the comforts and conveniences of home away from home! It was quiet and peaceful - I liked to sit outside in the morning with my coffee and watch all the birds and mule deer.
I also like to note that there was no odors in the building or on any of the bedding or towels. I'm very sensitive to certain smells, so it was much appreciated that all I smelled at any time was clean, fresh laundry.
The unit is also close to a local grocery store (Mar-val's) and a number of fun dining options. We particularly enjoyed the Iron Door Saloon in Historic Groveland.
Richard is an outstanding host who is easy to communicate with and quick to response to questions or concerns.
We enjoyed our stay here so much - we were sad to leave it behind when it was time to travel on down the road.
