Visiting friends and family
The property was as described and exactly what we needed. Downtown was a block away. Several restaurants and shops. We are originally from the area and selected this location because it was near downtown and central to places in Augusta and Gardiner that we wanted to visit. The house is a wonderfully updated old home.

Perfect spot in lovely Hallowell
Beautifully renovated/decorated upstairs apartment. Convenient off-street parking. Clean, comfortable place with plenty of room for one or two people. Just one block off Water street with the cute shops, restaurants, and next to the river. Looking forward to my next visit!!

We love staying there! Feels like home!
However, there is one problem. You need to do something with the parking area. That driveway is a mess! You get in your car and it’s muddy. You get out and it is muddy. You need to build it up with stabilized gravel or stone.

We had another wonderful weekend at this property! The home is so charming it already feels like a second home to us. We love the ability to walk to restaurants one night and cook in the kitchen the other night. All the supplies are there. All the rooms are spacious, but the flow is open and inviting. We will be booking here many times in the future!

Maine Vacation
This was our second visit to this fabulous apartment. The apartment had everything and more to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed walking to the restaurants and sitting along the river in the colorful chairs. Looking forward to our third visit next year.

This was the absolute best place to stay during our trip to Maine! I'd read all the reviews and it seemed too good to be true, but this was a charming apartment in a charming area. Each day we walked to the bakery for coffee and food. Each night we walked to a different restaurant and sat outside on the river. The fresh eggs, milk and wine in the fridge were so generous. The towels were soft. The spaces are roomy. The air conditioning was great! We are so happy that we have already booked another weekend in a couple months.

Perfect location
We found this rental perfect in both location and comfort. It is one block from downtown Hallowell where there is good restaurant scene. If we weren’t just passing through we would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay, it was all we could have asked for and more! The house had everything you will need and was well kept and very clean. It also was a short walk to the restaurants and cafes in town. It was perfect and hope to be back again next year!

Lovely, spacious condo in a great location
Everything you need for a comfortable stay, plenty of space and lots of amenities. Off street parking is great. When I arrived, there were cars already filling the entire driveway (due to a misunderstanding with other renters) and a text to the owners was answered promptly and the issue resolved within a few minutes. Very much appreciated the quick communication and would completely recommend this lovely property.

So peaceful!
Pam had everything we could have possibly needed and then some! I was in town for UMA graduation and couldn't have been more pleased with the property. We walked around town, shopped, ate, and met some incredible people. I highly recommend Pam's place!!

Halloween-y Hallowell
Location was perfect for accessing a fall hike in Vaughn Woods followed by the Halloween parade and dinner at the Liberal Cup. Enjoyed the wonderful mattress and well-appointed amenities.

The perfect location
From the moment we arrived in Hallowell we were enchanted with the history and the buildings from a bygone era, including the accommodations in this lovely duplex. The decor is beautiful and the unit, pristine. Our hosts recommended a short walk to Slates for dinner (a two minute walk) which was excellent and the unit was well stocked with everything else that we needed. The owners are very responsive and our stay was perfect.

Charming Apartment in great location

Beautiful apartment, so much light! We felt so welcome, coffee, tea, condiments! Menu’s for all the eateries...apartment is located a block from Hallowell’s charming waterfront We enjoyed outdoor dining and the walking path along the water. So much fun :)

The title pretty much says it all. The apartment is nice and clean, in a great location and host was responsive. Parents with toddlers should bring a safety gate to block the stairs as they are conveniently located in the center of the apartment,

Comfortable retreat
My wife and I needed a place to stay while the floors in our home were being sanded. The apartment was, in our opinion, an excellent alternative to staying at a motel with limited space. We were able to continue our normal routine in a comfortable setting, which included being able to cook our meals. The apartment was clean and well furnished. We were even able to walk the streets of Hallowell to check out the stores and restaurants. We would certainly recommend the apartment to anyone.

Fantastic Location
This property is in the perfect location for a quaint stay in Hallowell, ME. It is just a block away from restaurants and the river's edge. The apartment is well appointed and extremely clean. Hidden Gem of Inland Maine
A great location to enjoy a fabulous little downtown area. Hallowell is rich with history and has a vibrant and welcoming community atmosphere. Restaurants were very good and an unexpected late-night pub selection most with live music made the visit fun. The accommodations are very clean and I hope to stay there again!

This apartment was very spacious and there were thoughtful touches in each room, it was really comfortable, everything we needed was here, coffee, and whole milk for coffee was a nice surprise, eggs, etc. The location is great. This is a gem.

Perfect getaway
My Husband, teenage son and I had a great stay. The apartment was so clean and was in a great location, perfect for us to walk downtown to the shops, restaurants, pubs, and river. Lovely home, and a well organized rental process. I would go back because it was so nice.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We came from Maryland to Maine for a wedding and this place was absolutely perfect. The town is about a 3 minute walk down the street - tons of places to eat, shops to peruse, and a beautiful view! The place was super cute, clean, and extremely homey. It is clear that so much effort is put into the place so that we were happy and content there, and we felt extremely comfortable!! The only complaint we have is that we couldn't stay longer.

Best Place to Wrap UP a Wonderful Maine Stay
We both were totally comfortable in this personally detailed Kennebec Valley apartment. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Had we known how nice it is, we would have stayed longer, much longer. We have family on the coast, but next time will stay here and commute.

Great business traveler spot
This was my first experience with vrbo and I was pleasantly surprised. After going online and finding high room rates on mediocre area hotels I decided to look into vrbo. This property is in pristine condition. It is all about the details. Even snacks and fresh muffins to greet me. I felt truly welcome. Restaurants very close by as well as Vaugh Woods for walking trails and the Kennebec River walk. Great places to go for a walk after a days work. I will definitely come back. If on vacation, in Maine, this is also a great place to stop for a few nights and relax. Beautiful back porch overlooking a lovely garden. Great neighborhood. Highly recommend and look forward to using again.
