Awesome place for big group!
I came with my group of around 30 and we had such a lovely time! Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and we all enjoyed the closeness to the beach. Also, the host were very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Maui!

Paradise-in-Paradise
First, the property: it is more amazing than the listing/pictures can possibly project. Our family visit included 7 adult couples - each of them enjoyed a private master suite of type and quality one would expect of a top-tier luxury hotel. The suites are spread across three floors, all of which are above a bottom floor with laundry, swimming pool, outdoor bar-b-q set-up, and more-than-adequate space for lounging or (as we did) having a formal meal outdoors in a beautiful tropical setting. The top (fourth) floor, is called the penthouse, and is where the kitchen and living rooms are located. With views of the ocean and space for more people than we had gathered, it is a wonderful gathering/sharing/socializing place. All of this is just steps away from a private beach, where we went swimming and snorkeling and saw sea turtles and many fish. The utility room is abundantly supplied with gear, making it both convenient and comfortable. Adequate off-street parking for 4 vehicles, and location between Kaanapali and Kapalua could not be more convenient. The owner and property managers were professional and friendly, checking in periodically by text to see if we needed anything. This is a VERY special property that is, itself, a paradise set in paradise. Lifetime memories were created during our trip, and they were made possible by the opportunity to stay in this magnificent property.

Great Property with awesome views perfect for large events.
This a great property that functions well for large events. The rooms are laid out hotel style so plenty of privacy with a large common room and kitchen on the top floor. The pool, gym, and theater are a definite bonus. The property has a short private path that opens onto a public beach. I cant recommend this place enough.

Just like a private resort!
20 of us from 8 to 80 had an amazing time at this house over Christmas and New Year. So much space - we could all escape to our own rooms, or congregate at the pool deck or main living room. Very, very functional for a large group, excellent communication with manager - super responsive!

Ultimate beach house!!!
This rental really is the ultimate beach house! It felt very much like a private hotel and we all loved having large private en-suite bedrooms. The extra amenities like the work out room and movie room were a hit! We used the pool daily and loved having a beach so close to snorkel and play in the sand without having to pack up the car. If you have a large group this is definitely the place to stay! Very close to shops and restaurants as well. Thanks Mike and Myra for making our stay so great. We will be back!

Family reunion
We had a wonderful time, family reunion with 28 people ranging from 8 months to 95 years old. The property was perfect despite the 4 floors and no elevator. Although the kitchen is lovely, it is not stocked to cook for that many people. Pots and pans not big enough, not enough trays for serving. If you just plan on making do it works out fine. We were there during a power outage and there is no back up generator, again, if you just make do it is fine. My only complain was being charged extra to heat up the pool, I feel that for the price, it should be included. All in all, we had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

Great property for a large group
This property used to be an apartment/dorm. The layout is similar to an apartment complex with open areas and private rooms that are like mini hotel rooms. Spacious and private bathrooms for everyone. It is off a main road but didn't bother us. Has private access to a cute little beach. Pool was great (extra to heat). No complaints we had a great time!

Amazing Stay
Property was perfect for our 21 member family. Everyone had a room with their own space and then a large dining room and patio for the full group. Host was quick to respond with answers to any questions. House was very clean and great location. The rental supplied plenty of beach gear. Would definitely recommend!

Incredible home for a large group
This home is the perfect location and an amazing place to stay for a large group! The rooms are massive, and it gives everyone their own sense of privacy while still enjoying each other’s company. We are already trying to plan when we will be staying again! The host was incredible and responsive.

Best Place For Large Groups.
We had several couples with a few small children in the space and it was absolutely perfect. I've rented dozens of homes over the years for large groups and this one was by far the best laid out and suitable for a large group. Pool is great, beaches close by, great little restaurants and stores.... It's perfect. Will definitely be back!

Excellent Adventure
Our large group of 30+ friends and family stayed at this beautiful, clean and perfectly laid out house. It was so much fun to stay here with so many of us. At no time did the house feel too small. It was greatness with the 11 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. If we needed more towels or help with any maintenance, the owners were very responsive. Our check in and out process was seamless. We would highly recommend this home to large groups with family and friends. Our hope is to repeat this trip in years to come.

Family of 28 - AMAZING!
From age 2 -90, we have a multi generation family here for a week. What a magical time we had. The home is professionally managed with greeters upon arrival, has a great pool and slide, right on the beach and in the heart of Lahaina. Doesn't get any better than this for a family group

Impressive Mansion and Private Beach Access!
We have been going to Hawaii (all islands) for 20 years and I am not aware of a home like this. It sleeps dozens of people and has it's own private beach access (about a 20 foot trail connected right to the home and private!). This isn't just rare, it's probably the only home with such access. Home is in perfect condition and the kids spent hours in the pool going down the slide everyday. Great!

Incredible Beach Front Home
This was the trip of a lifetime for my family and I. We booked this home a year ago. The home did not disappoint, in fact we really only left the property a few times during our stay. Between the pool and the private beach access, we had everything we needed right on the property. The home is massive and can accomodate just about any size group. 5 stars

The house is beautiful with easy beach access. Snorkeling at the property was great, plenty of fish and turtles. Myra the property manager was amazing and super attentive. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary so our group was large ranging from infant to 70 yrs old and everyone loved it!

Good and Bad.
Good. Central to public swimming and snorkeling beaches and shopping.. Bad 1). Lousy Plumbing. Main line clogged up from prior usage involving tampons, etc. flushed down toilets, spewing sewage into first floor, resulting in not eating in grill area entire week. 2) LIMITED private beach. Is actually a narrow "alley" access to neighboring condo swimming area and only sand-access during low tides, otherwise a challenging access off slippery rocks. 3) Very challenging parking - only room for 4 cars, with dangerous backing-out onto highway.

Perfect vacation rental for large families
We recently stayed at Honokawai for an 80th birthday celebration. The "house" isn't your typical vacation rental, rather it is like a private hotel. We had extra rooms with our group of 16. What makes this home extra special is the amenities that are provided by the property. The entire house is modern and beautifully decorated. Each room as its own bathroom with an additional sink. With the pool, weight room, ping pong table, cornhole and media room, there was much to do if we weren't at the beach. You don't need to bring beach necessities as they are provided. From a wagon to beach chairs and umbrellas, the house was well stocked, which was a pleasant surprise. In addition, with a large group such as ours, the 3 washer and dryer sets came in very handy. From the corner of the top floor, you can see the beach, which is a mere 50 steps away. In low tide, the snorkeling is enjoyable, but we wouldn't recommend small children going to the beach in high tide. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Honokawai, and we look forward to renting there again.

Epic Ohana Vacation
Our group of Kama’aina (local residents from a neighbor island) thoroughly enjoyed our staycation at Hale Maui. Our Ohana included 3 generations- for a total of 27 guests - ages ranging from 5 to 85. Furthermore, Grandma was wheelchair bound having just had hip surgery 4 weeks prior - yet, the property had amenities and accommodations that suited all our need,. Where we requested extra items to ensure safety and comfort, they were met with the aloha spirit and a “no problem” attitude. The slide and pool were a big hit with all the kids and the “kids at heart..” The kitchen is fit for a team of chefs. We cooked all except for one dinner! We had 20 spirited wanna-be chefs so we made use of that kitchen! Even the fitness and media rooms were regularly utilized. We even held a ping-ping tournament. There is no shortage of fun available at this vacation rental. The location of the property is ideal and the home is situated such that the beach is a 30 second jaunt out back. Good snorkeling and turtle sightings are frequent. Restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores, and souvenir shops are all within walking distance. Our Ohana also run a large 12 bedroom vacation rental on Oahu and we found the property well maintained, equipped with modern furnishings and appliances, and beautifully appointed with designs that exude a sense of place. Lush tropical foliage abound! Aloha lives in details. Sometimes all that makes a vacation stay epic are courteous, responsive and thoughtful staff. Myra, the property manager and Luz, the housekeeper are an asset to the property owners and excellent ambassadors. We met Luz (housekeeping) upon arrival and asked a few questions as to where we could find some specialty items, and she personally took it upon herself to deliver these items - showcasing true aloha spirit! Myra (property manger) met us for the introductory tour but communicated with us not only during our stay, but prior to our arrival to ensure smooth move-in. On our last day, we met Mike (maintenance) and he was eager to hear about our experience and open to hearing about any maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. We are well aware of how hard it is to maintain a huge property like this and we appreciate the attention and diligence of the staff in delivering high standards of service to the guests! We look forward to a hanahou (a return stay)! Mahalo nui!

Great home for large family gathering
We loved the property. There are 4 extra large identical suites with sleeper sofas, 2 have a beautiful water view. There are 4 identical large suites. 2 of each suite are on the second and third floors. There is a gym/laundry room and media room on the second floor, the media room has a full bathroom. There is a full bathroom and a washer & dryer set on the first floor. On the 3rd floor there is a suite with a double bed and a suite with 2 bunkbeds featuring trundle beds and a full size bed, so the room sleeps 8. On the 4th floor, where the living area is located, there is a single suite, the room is the smallest but features a walk-in shower. This room was perfect for my mom who isn't great with stairs. She only had to go up the stairs once and everything she needed was on that floor. Her sisters were on the 3rd floor so they only had to take one flight to get to the living area. The baloney off the 4th floor was a popular location for everyone in the house. We had 4 guests over 65, 7 guests ages 30-45, 3 guests ages 20-22, 5 guests 10-17, and one infant. The home had everything we needed. It would be a perfect setup for friends or a company retreat, the home was originally an apartment complex so there is a lot of privacy among the suites which are numbered for easy identification. My family would be happy 2 return.

Wonderful Vacation
We had a family reunion with 29 people. Ages infant to 84 and this property was perfect for us. It has four floors and no elevator which was fine for are group but could be rough for som people. The property was beautiful and in fantastic shape. The beach was close with nice private path to access it. Would definitely love to come back again!!

Best vacation home ever!!!
This home has it all, 5 stars is not enough!!! We traveled with 12 adults and 8 kids and we all felt like we had plenty of space. The home is immaculate and is perfectly designed for large groups. Everything was clean and well stocked with linens, bath and beach towels and all the supplies you could ever need. The beach it sits on is intimate and pristine, and we had sea turtles visit everyday. The hosts and owners are warm, welcoming and extremely easy to communicate with. I cannot recommend this rental enough!!!

We had a family trip with over 20 of us. The property was perfect, there were so many gathering spaces and yet privacy for everyone with the 10 master suites! The property and grounds were immaculate and the pool with slide was awesome! Plus the beach was steps away. The kitchen with two dishwashers was a welcome surprise. And we had everything needed to cook and serve meals for all of us. The home is beautiful and we had such a fantastic time!

Fabulous Maui experience for our large group!
We spent three weeks here celebrating all kinds of milestones with our family & friends! The home is perfect for large groups, large kitchen, spacious bedrooms of equal quality and the perfect bunk room for the kids. The beach feels private with small rolling waves, perfect for young kids to romp in the shallow water and snorkel. Turtle encounters, reefs for snorkeling and whale watching all from the sandy beach steps away from the home. Then have some fun in the pool & slide! Hosts Myrna & Mike were exceptional in their responses to our needs and questions! Note tho that the home is four stories, without an elevator, so would not work for physically impaired individuals. Otherwise you will experience the warm Maui breezes throughout the beautifully appointed house! We loved it there!

Great spot for a group!
We stayed with a large group of family with ages ranging from 2 to 75. It was amazing to have private rooms with attached bathrooms and the common areas were great to gather. Everything was VERY nice and the property managers (Mike and Myra) took really great care of us. They had everything we needed… pack n plays, booster seats, plenty of towels, beach chairs and toys, etc. We had 6 cars and it all fit perfect in the driveway. The beach was 20 steps from the house down a private path and was BEAUTIFUL! We saw some amazing sunsets, tons of seat turtles and whales and we were usually the only ones there. On days when it was too windy, the pool was the perfect place to be. I don’t think we could have found a place better for our group… it was like having our own private hotel. Just beware that there are lots of stairs :) Thanks again!

Perfect for a big group
This property was perfect for our family reunion. We used every inch of the house. Two grills, large eating area downstairs, pool and beach access (slippery steps!) But the rental has everything you need for daily adventures. including chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, snorkel stuff, etc...

Great location and Fabulous house!
This was a perfect house for our group of 30 extended family and friends. Lots of room, individual space for each family and couple. The location was great: beach and pool right in the backyard when we stayed home and quick access to lots of great shopping and sightseeing. We even had enough parking for the 6 cars our group rented. If you are looking for an awesome space for your large group than look no further!

Wonderful Stay in Lahaina
We are planners in our family, making this trip come together perfectly for us was important. From booking this property, the planning, arrival and stay - everything was PERFECT! The first thing I will mention is that this home is MASSIVE, it can sleep 30 people and probably more. It is located on the water in Lahaina, has a nice swimming pool, gym and movie watching room. What we liked most is that each bedroom is like a large hotel suite with a private bathroom and most having seating areas also. I don’t see how it could get much better than this home.

Could Not have Been Better!
Gathering for a family reunion, this was grandparents and 3 generations of kids and grandkids. The home was in wonderful and basically new condition when we arrived, better than most hotels we stay in. The grand kids swam everyday in the pool while the adults went the beach or shopping. This home is in the heart of Lahaina (west maui) - our top choice for locations in Maui. Also, Whales jumping out the living room window were fun to watch. Thank you for a luxury stay

Immaculate BeachFront!!
After going to Hawaii fro 19 years, we decided to bring the family all together in to one home (instead of multiple condos). We had just over 20 people in our group, with plenty of room to spare. The home has a 5 star hotel feel, incredibly clean, well kept and right on the water. We aren’t familiar with any “private” beaches in Hawaii but this one is about as close as you’ll get to having one! Almost no one on the beach each day except us. There is a pool, fitness room, theater room and amazing kitchen/living space. This will be an annual trip for us, thanks to the staff for making it great as well

Incredible Home and Hospitality
We had a group of 26 adults and had an unforgettable week together! It felt like we rented out our own private resort. The layout was perfect for our group, offering privacy in each of the master bedrooms but also large common areas for everyone to gather on the top floor and outdoors. Everyone agreed that the beds were extremely comfortable, and the fitness center and media room were huge hits. The home was just renovated and so in brand new condition. The location was also perfect - right near the beach and also within walking distance of local restaurants and other shops. The host was extremely welcoming and responsive to our needs. Couldn't have been a better experience!
We loved our week long stay in our Vrbo in Maui!!! We had a business group of 26 Adults and 3 infants. Everything was squeaky clean and brand new! The host was incredibly responsive which always makes vacation more enjoyable! The most common comment amongst our group was how amazing the beds were, seriously next level. The gym had more than enough weights and there was 3 sets of washer and dryers to accommodate everyones laundry. We will definitely be staying here again!

Well this home was the one! 11 master bedrooms (with en suite bathrooms in each), a move theater room, gym, bunk beds - it was a dream! Amazing House!
We just returned from our stay and this home and wow, what an amazing property! We never thought we would be find something that would fit 28 of us, but this home can do that plus more. The home is located in a fantastic neighborhood in west maui and is beach front. The beach feels like it's private to the home as there isn't any public access. We had it all to ourselves! We snorkled with turles and laid on the sand most days. We're already planning our trip back next year! Thank you for a flawless stay.
