DO NOT DO IT! THEY HAVE ROACHES!
At first glance the apartment is “cute and clean”. Until you look closer and realize there’s roaches crawling from holes in the sink and running under the bed. I texted the host immediately and was told “That must have came in when the cleaners were cleaning they open the doors and windows! I’ve never seen that… what is that?!? I would either drown it or crush it with a napkin and throw it away!!!!” I tried to resolve the matter with Vrbo, they stated they could refund their service fee and reimburse me for the cans of Raid and cleaning supplies I had to buy at 2am to clean and exterminate the apartment. Any other refund would have to come directly from the “Host”. Vrbo also stated ‘if roaches are alive and running around THAT is considered an infestation’…. Contrary to what the Host believes. The Host refuses to refund anything. I explained to the Host (which by the way was NOT the same person on the listing. The person on the listing called someone else on 3-way and she is the one who I spoke with) that I’m not looking for a full refund, but I am looking to have a partial refund because of the roaches! I provided her with videos, photos, and I also left a living roach to prove to her I’M NOT MAKING THIS UP! She has cut all contact and refuses to make this right/fair. I would NOT recommend!!

The owner miscomunication?!!!
I have stayed 5 nights. I have enjoyed the property for the first three days. Every day I had to aquire a passcode to access the property doors and garage enterance. The one day before our departure (in the morning) the owner gave me the access passcode for the wrong day, the day after my departure. Possible mistake or someting else- you judge. Effectively I had NO valid code to open any doors. I could leave, but would not be able to come back. I have called many times- no answer, and texted for new valid code- NO code given. Instead the owner instructed me "...to complete all the checkout steps, or the deposit will be witheld." I had to stay in my room to let my family members in (open the doors) for that day. I have done that to ensure our departure at the next morning to fly out from Houston. I have also contacted VRBO.com for help. They tried and failed dispite having a few more contact numbers, beside the one I had. My preventive actions saved me from bigger troubles (i.e. stying loced-out, loosing luggage, missing the flight,...), but it also ruined my stay. I still am waiting to see how mutch money the owner will refund me.
