Do not pay for helicopter. Total rip off.
It's a popular trip, so calling it "Skip-the-Line" is a bit of a misnomer. It was quite a long line for the tour bus and a bit of a wait for the return, so GO EARLY and be patient. Once you are inside the gardens it's every bit worthy the wait.
Wear good walking shoes, bring your good camera, be prepared to possibly stand for a while if you're taking the bus because many people may not get a seat. If you're trying to get some pretty Instagram shots while you're there, be mindful of the fact that the park will be crowded with may people trying to do the same.
Buy combo tickets at airport for €37.50 and take the public buses from RAI station or airport, better deal than commercial tickets
