Spacious, comfortable condo at Turtle Bay
We loved the proximity to Turtle Bay for a conference I was attending, the beautiful north shore views and walks/hikes and the easy access to the beach. The condo was a little less fresh than pictured as far as older paint in the bathroom and some mildew in the shower, but nothing too bothersome. The owner offered a small credit due to my comment on the shower tile. Other details were very nice: we appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom (didn’t need the living room unit due to trade winds), the heated pool just across the drive, and the fully-equipped kitchen. I liked the modern island decor and the mattress was quite comfortable.

We are disappointed to hear that you encountered some issues during your stay. We take cleanliness very seriously as you can see from our many positive reviews. Upon inspection after your stay, we did not find any mildew. I believe you may have seen some slight discoloration from our recent tub re-caulking. I was hoping you would have taken our offer to come right away when you reached out to us upon arrival. We live near the condo and are continuously making improvements. Beautiful Condo!
The condo was exactly as described. Very clean and bright inside. Loved the decor. So enjoyable to sit in the swing, especially in the morning. It was lovely. The location was perfect for what we were looking for. Walking distance to the nearby resort and short driving distance to Halewia. Thanks to Jill for providing a wonderful place to stay to celebrate our anniversary. Can't say enough great things. You won't be disappointed!

Highly Recommend
A great central location for enjoying all that the North Shore has to offer. The condo was very clean and more than enough space for 2 adults. The king bed was very comfortable. The hanging swing out on the lanai was a nice touch. Check in/out was smooth. Jill was a lovely host, always very responsive. Hope to stay again. Thanks Jill!

Great location and property
This was a very well appointed vacation rental. Everything we needed was there. We also loved the details and creative space. It was a great home base for enjoying the more low key and beauty of the island. Foodland was very close by for groceries, and several local spots for really great food. The only downside to note was that the walls and ceiling are paper thin, and you can hear everything your neighbor is doing. I have learned over the years that this is kinda of a hit or miss with most buildings on the islands, and this was a nice condo. Lesson learned this time about a bottom unit. Units surrounding are also vacation rentals so everyone is on a different schedule..including when they go to sleep or get up for the day. Would recommend if you are a very heavy sleeper, stay up very late and are an early riser. Otherwise plan to get some good siestas in throughout the day! *Tip to visitors of the islands: Drive with Aloha! and don't be THAT idiot. - pull over and let locals pass you if you are admiring the scenery or if you are lost/ indecisive. Along with the traffic they have to deal with..They've got places to go! -If you miss your stop wait til you get to a safe spot and legal spot to turn around. -pay attention to the road and honor the speed limits. You are sharing a long bendy stretch of 2 way road with scooters, kids walking or on bikes (day and night). SLOW DOWN! Unfortunately you are going to see a lot of memorials along the road, so keep yourself in check.

Thank you for the 5 start review Rachel. For those reading reviews, the condo is on the end and the unit next door is a second home (not often occupied). The complex has quiet time from 9pm to 8am. If there is noise during quiet time, one can easily call the 24/7 on-site management. I appreciate your comments about driving with Aloha!

This is a clean, bright, comfortable condo decorated nicely with a joyful vibe. It is well stocked with everything we needed. We also appreciated the use of the beach chairs. Clean and Beautiful Property
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do on the North side of the island. The condo was just as peaceful and beautiful in person as in the pictures and very clean. The two trails near the property were really beautiful as well. Jill was so helpful and quick to provide recommendations which was so appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend it to others.

Very nice North Shore location
Very nice condo, exactly as described and pictured. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, and a really nice place to hangout. I love staying on the North Shore. The Turtle Bay resort area is one of the few places to stay on the North Shore. This condo is a great option, it provides most of the benefits of the Turtle Bay Hotel, at a third of the price. We swam and snorkeled at the Turtle Bay beach, ate at the hotel's restaurants, took a surf lesson at the hotel's surf school, and walked along the coast on the trails from the hotel.

Clean, Beautiful, Great Location
My partner and I had a lovely 8 night stay at Jill's condo! It was a great location, very close to Turtle Bay resort and in a quiet area of the North Shore. The condo was exactly as depicted, and the host and on-site manager were quick and responsive when there were questions. The only issue we had was the upstairs renters were quite loud, but the hosts were quick to contact the building manager to ask them to quiet down. We were very happy with our comfortable and clean stay here for our vacation on the North Shore!

Perfect spot my surfer fiance and I
This trip was a combination of action, adventure and surfing. Staying in the Turtle Bay Area was the perfect spot! My now fiancé was able to surf the east coast by Pounders, surf AT turtle bay, and surf at Waimea Bay on the north shore. All spots are popular for body boarding and all were within a 20-25 minute ride! We had access to the food trucks on the east coast AND the north shore! It’s literally smack dab in the middle of everything we needed and wanted to do! 15 minutes either way to the grocery store. Close to hikes including the pillbox hike. Honestly couldn’t have found a better spot! Added bonus, we were able to go to the restaurants at turtle bay and since all beaches in Hawaii are public, we could also go to their beach which was a perfect snorkeling spot! Tons of fish and we even got to see a turtle! 10/10 recommend

Great stay!
This vrbo rental is perfect for exploring the North and eastern shores of Oahu. Communication with the owner was easy and the rental was clean and had all items necessary. On property of Turtle Bay. Walking distance to Turtle Bay beach. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Condo
We truly loved our stay! Everything about it was wonderful! We loved your pool. Really pretty. Also loved eating at Turtle Bay resort and snorkeling in the beautiful lagoon. Drove often to Haliwa . Had the most wonderful stay. Only thing I wish I had was a bogey board which I will bring next time. Thank u for making this a truly wonderful vacation.

Great location, lovely condo
We could not have been happier with our stay at Jill‘s condo! The location was excellent and we were in close proximity to everything we wanted to see and do on the North Shore. Plus, being in Turtle Bay, you’re able to go up to the resort for a quick bite or drinks. Property was clean and spacious and the decor is quite cute modern. We had no issues with our stay and definitely would come again.

Wonderful base to explore the North Shore

We absolutely loved our stay at Jill’s place. It was perfect for our getaway as a couple, the Turtle Bay resort area was wonderful (beaches, views, trails, restaurants) and we enjoyed both the pool right across the street and the tennis courts out the back door. Awesome hideaway by Turtle Bay

Turtle bay is similar to an all inclusive, close to the small town of Haleiwa and to a wonderful farmers market with fresh fruit. There are so many things to do, beach activities, shopping, and eateries that make the north shore a wonderful place to visit.

Beautifully decorated apartment close to lots of activities!
This apartment was the perfect stay for my husband and I for our wedding week. Very clean and organized. Very nicely decorated. We were driving around the island all week and this was a good central location. Plus the restaurants and spa at Turtle Bay were so close. Also loved the beach chairs and small cooler that were provided. Worked out great!

The condo is beautiful - just as advertised in the photos. The beach is a quick and easy 10 minute walk, and there are amazing paths/trails surrounding the Turtle Bay Resort. Jill is an amazing host. Perfect Place to Stay on the North Shore!
We had a week-long stay and everything was excellent! The place was quiet with new appliances and a great design aesthetic. Jill also provided the best tips that I’ve seen from a host, with a lot of great food suggestions and the best things to do on this side of the island including non-crowded beaches and scenic hikes. I was also able to work remotely on a reliable internet connection. We specifically chose this place due to its very close proximity to Haleiwa, and to the resort, while staying away from crowds and the city. Happy to say it was everything we wanted and will undoubtedly be back soon!

THE MOST ENCHANTING PLACE FOR COUPLES ON THE NORTH SHORE
So my husband discovered Vrbo, after a week a me having trouble booking with Air bee and bee due to new covid regulations. We were 2 days away from our 3rd wedding anniversary and our goal was to book a dreamy staycation. Air bee and bee gave us the hardest time to make that dream come true but after my husband discovered Vrbo, I quickly found Jill's place! Low and behold, we were able to book her place INSTANTLY with no set backs!!! Jill responded within an hour of our booking and she was the most hospitable, thorough and communicative host I have ever experienced with any kind of rental booking! She continued her hospitality with grace, efficiency and true aloha spirit throughout our entire stay and answered every question I had within the hour I sent it. Her direction, check-in and check-out process was simple to follow and to the point. The best part of it all was her magical, modern, tropical estate! It is exactly what it looks like in her pictures but BETTER IN PERSON!! The cleanliness of the place is spectacular and the area is another world! I love the fact that it is quiet, away from the busy tourism of Waikiki and set in the North Shore of O'ahu, where you can actually appreciate the beauty and culture of the island, no matter what road you take from turtle bay. I loved every aspects of the condo! If I had to choose my favorite part, (which is definitely a hard decision because all of it is beautiful) I would choose the amazing aesthetically pleasing swing on the lanai. Oh my gosh, sitting on that with a cup of great coffee in the morning next to your partner is more than a dream. You can appreciate the scenic tropical view while being private and lovey-dovey with your partner. I can say that even though my husband and I stayed only one night, we definitely were able to make the best out of our stay. Not only did we get to appreciate the beauty of the condo but the walk to the turtle bay resort is not far at all either. Only 5 minutes away and we got to enjoy the restaurant and the hotels new renovations as well! There is so much more to explore at turtle bay but again, we were only there for one night. Overall, we completely enjoyed our stay!!! I would gave her estate more than 5 stars if I could. Jill is an incredibly wonderful host and I hope you choose her place for your next couples retreat or adventure.

Kawela Bay Vacation
This property was perfect for a North Shore stay. Convenient to local attractions like Waimea Falls as well as all the popular surfing spots on the North Shore. The property was well maintained, clean, and the neighborhood is very quiet. Communication with the host was excellent and she provided a lengthy list of shopping opportunities, tourist attractions, beach access suggestions, and local amenities. We used her guide book to help us navigate our stay and it made it more enjoyable. Definitely recommmend this property and host.

Great stay!
Only stayed for 2 nights, but we had a great time! The place was clean, easy to get to, and provided some fun beach toys and a cooler for us to use. It was also nice to have the washer and dryer so we didn’t have to do laundry when we got home.

A nice stay on the north shore
It was a nice experience renting from Jill. She provided some great insider information on where to eat and adventure to around the property. We had never stayed longer than a day on the north shore and it was great getting to experience the different beaches, Haleiwa, different shops and food places, as well as the amazing sunsets! The condo is very spacious, and in a nice area. The pool is very close, turtle bay hotel and the beach is an easy 10 minute walk down the road, the Sugar mill food trucks, a fruit stand, or sunset beach are within a 7 minute drive. The condo was stocked with a variety of kitchen items, beach gear, a few kids activities and puzzles, etc. The owners have done a great job to make your stay comfortable. The condo is a bit worn, but I can only imagine how hard it would be to upkeep a property in a Hawaiian climate with some much humidity. The only thing I would recommend is in regards to the sofa bed. It is very worn and does not have any support, so if your party has anyone using the bed, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone other than little kids. Thank you for a nice stay!

Like all sofa beds, the mattress is thinner and not the same as a regular bed. However, we also provide a deluxe blow-up queen bed that is probably more comfortable for adults. Aloha ~

A PERFECT ALOHA RETREAT
What an amazing stay in Oahu!! The condo was stocked with everything we needed and more! A short walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the pool. Jill was the best host and checked in on us at the beginning and the end with an email. There was nothing that could have been done better with this ideal vacation condo!! WE LOVED IT!!

A Little Stay in Paradise
Thank you Jill, for sharing your home! This condo is located in the beautiful Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu. Everything is exactly as described and is a wonderful retreat and n paradise. My only suggestion to future renters is to pay attention to your emails from Jill. Her birthday instructions in the emails are spot on whereas those in the app are outdated. We were well pleased with our stay here and highly recommend it to any future guests.

Thank you for the review! Yes, the condo is actually within the resort which makes it convenient for visiting the beaches, restaurants, bars, etc.

Turtle Bay Condo
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo! It’s location is convenient to numerous great beaches, shops and restaurants. The condo is also well furnished and near the swimming pool.

We were honored to stay at Jill's Vacation Rental. We felt like we were home, what better feel!
We found a spot that worked with our stay. My Husband and I got married at Turtle Bay Resort over this vacation, so it was a memorable stay. We had friends and family come over, and every one of them would compliment our condo. We thought it was fabulous, clean, and bug free. The condo was very spacious, the decor was beautiful. It was quiet! The washer and dryer was very new and updated, along with the kitchen appliances. Beach towels and chairs were provided, and that was a huge PLUS! Also, Sarah is AWESOME! We left a precious item behind and she shipped it out to us without any hesitation. That is a wonderful thing, we truly appreciate the effort you put into helping us out. On site manager was amazing about security, and you could just tell she adored Jill. Anytime I needed anything, she was there to help with questions. The walking distance was perfect to Turtle Bay. We are definitely coming back to stay again, thank you Jill!

Beautiful Condo with a Great Location
We stayed with our daughter in Jill's condo as part of our 50th Anniversary trip. The accommodations are perfect, with every thing you could imagine for your comfort. It is a great location on the North Shore away from the hustle and bustle (and traffic) of Honolulu. The information Jill provides on the local area and especially the dining recommendations are extremely helpful. Make sure you sample the food trucks on the list (our favourite was Elephant Thai in Laie). Thanks Jill!

The condo is beautiful and clean. Amazing location. Close to all the North shore beaches. Love it
This is our 3rd time staying with Jill and Daniel. Always available for what ever you need or just to answer questions. The condo is beautiful and clean. Stocked with whatever you may need. The grounds surrounding it are just what you would picture Hawaii to be. You feel like your on the perfect vacation! Close to all the Northshore beaches and amenities. You don't ever have to leave the northshore. Thanks Jill and Daniel for your hospitality. Hope to come again.
