Exceptionally clean, perfect location!
We were new to the area and wanted something close to the ATV trails. This cabin was perfectly located to go any direction on the trails and have a great place to drink morning coffee and have a nighttime fire! Probably one of the cleanest and most tidy rentals we've ever stayed in. We will definitely rent here again!

Lovely june vaca
The cabin was so nice and clean nice swimming area and very well stocked. For me it was like stepping back in time growing up at Blue Lake! It was a wonderful week stay with my daughters son in law and mother and we will be back. Hoping to make it back in the fall, but for sure a yearly summer trip Thank you for making our memories so sweet!!

Amazing Water and Super Clean House
My son and I took a mother/son fishing trip for his graduation present. The cabin was very clean and comfortable with all of the necessary items. The lake was beautiful and clear with great fishing. We will return again!

Fishing Fishing Fishing
After a LONG year of navigating college academics and college sports, this was a much needed weekend for the boys! Lots of fishing and fun. Cabin was SO clean and comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful spot! We’ll be back.

Charming Getaway Cottage
This cottage made for a wonderful weekend stay. My brother and I took the rowboat out for a troll around the lake. We also grilled out and made a nice campfire. It was a short drive from Traverse City which was also a plus. Hoping to return to Blue Lake one day soon!

quiet relaxing trip
We loved our time at the lake. The boys took the boat out daily, We walked around the lake, and stayed mostly at the house, enjoying the scenario and our time away.

Nostalgic Cottage on a Stunning Lake
Blue Lake, how have we never met before?! I would compare the water to that of Mackinac Island, with incredible turquoise and aqua shades. The pictures I took looked fake, the water was that gorgeous. The dock was fantastic to launch, float, or flop off of. The bottom was clear and clean, and ranges from hard sand to quite soft. We fished with varying luck but great fun. The sunsets were spectacular. The cottage was perfect for our family, and reminded me of the cottages I grew up going to. The pictures are accurate, and many things included were not listed (their WiFi was great, they have a modern TV and extensive cable, there are plenty of fans, two grills, etc), so our expectations were exceeded. The beds were comfy and the appliances all worked. It is clearly a well-loved and cared for space, and we loved our time there. Thanks again!

Beautiful spot on a lake
Used the Blue Lake cottage for a quading trip. Cabin was very close to the Kalkaska trail system. Cottage was perfect for three couples to sleep in. Everything was just what we needed, even the cable TV to watch the playoffs. Will be coming back to quad in the fall or summer if possible, hopefully this place will be available. Todd and Jeanne were also excellent at getting back to me with answers to all my questions. Thanks.

The cabin was very clean and contained everything you would ever need.
The lake is a small one and incredibly clean with little boat traffic. Made for great swimming and fishing and for a very, very quiet week which was great! It was our first time renting and I would recommend for anyone to rent this cottage. Also, it is close to Lake Michigan and some tourist spots for a day trip if someone wanted. Anything we needed was there and lots of room to for our family to move around. Just a great place to stay. Thank you Todd & Jeanne!

Had a great time. The grandkids swam almost nonstop. Cabin had everything needed. Beautiful lake!
The cabin is rustic as described, but contained everything we needed. Grill could use to be replaced, but we managed. Ants were a bit of a problem as there is no were to sit outside and get away from them. Great dock, great swimming, beautiful view. Maybe a little remote for us with the grandkids - but the adults loved that. Our phones (AT&T) wouldn’t work most of the time, but maybe that was a blessing. We lost power for a few hours, but owner of the cottage called to let us know they were checking into it. We got the message the next day as for some reasons our phones seemed to work at 7am for a few minutes. Overall, we had a great time!!

We went up for a two day snowmobile trip. Home is very close to the trails. There was enough towels and linens in the house. Nice large breezeway to take off all of your gear. Pleanty of room for parking and sleds.

Very clean, great view, great location
I rent cabins around Michigan quite a bit. It's probably one is probably the cleanest and most orderly cabin I've visited. You can tell it's given quite a bit of care and love from the owners. It sits on a bluff which overlooks Blue Lake, and it's very scenic. It's a two story lake with opportunities for bass/pike and trout. There is a living room and a porch that overlooks the lake, and you could sit out there all day and relax. It is very close to public land, plenty of trails and other opportunities. You definitely feel away from it all. The owners are very responsive and friendly. I was comfortable the whole time. I'd definitely recommend this place, and I'll be coming back.
