“We had a great time staying on the boat while down in the keys for scuba certification. Mark communicated with us well. We recommend adding the dinghy rental to your trip to get back and forth to land and to cruise around and sight see. The cove was quiet and very peaceful at night. We put the mattress outside and slept under the stars (and mosquito net, provided). For a no frills adventure, this was great for us! Thank you”

I think he said it best when he mentioned that it was basically camping on a boat. I would highly recommend taking the option to rent the dinghy for transportation to and from the boat. “recently had a unique weekend sailboat experience that had a camping-like feel. The friendliness of the dog on board added to the enjoyment, although the lack of air conditioning in the Florida heat made it uncomfortable, especially for our dog. We discovered early on that there were no showers on the boat. To make the trip more convenient, I recommend bringing sandwiches, snacks, and a bag of ice. “We really enjoyed staying on the Starfish. The bathroom is beyond super tiny, but there are a larger outdoor showers and pool bathrooms that we used. If you are a larger person, the super tiny bathrooms will be a problem. However, it won’t prevent us from returning. We loved it!”
