Lovely quiet spacious with plenty of outdoor space
Spacious, clean, well equipped and easy. Pool and outside areas were fab - water warm even in Feb. It's about 20 mins into town so easily walkable but means you can escape the tourists too if you want. Some nice places to eat not far away and beaches at papagayo are well worth the walk. Would also recommend trip to el golfo and the national park.

Everything you could need
Clean, modern and spacious. Everything you could need is available. Nice, quiet area but within 20 minutes you can walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. We will definitely see if this is available the next time we visit Lanzarote.

Lovely property in a relatively quiet area
Lovely property in a relatively quiet area just north of Playa Blanca proper. The pool was a good temperature and there were plenty of sun loungers and outdoor furniture. The supplied towels and bed linens were clean and in good condition. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc, and the appliances were immaculate. There is a car port for parking, and a traditional Canarian-style BBQ, which was clean but the grill is too small and has to be wedged into the brickwork. I think there's probably a metal box or tray missing as I've seen others that have one. There's lots of cupboard and storage space for possessions, and a safe. The TV has lots of UK channels via the set-too box, and the wifi was very good throughout. Overall it's a lovely place in which to stay whilst visiting Lanzarote!

Fantastic holiday in beautiful villa
Our family stayed at the property in August 2023. The villa was absolutely perfect for us and catered for all our needs. The pool was amazing and we used it frequently during our stay. The villa is set in a quiet complex which has cctv throughout. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants - although we did hire a car to get around the island. The villas was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The host and her team were so helpful, getting back to us immediately if we had any queries. We had a brilliant time here and would highly recommend to others.

Perfect
What a great time myself and my family had on our first holiday in playa Blanca, the villa was perfectly situated, very quiet neighbourhood but within a 15-20 minutes walk you have everything you need! Small supermarket just a 5 minutes walk away. The pool was perfect for children and adults alike (deep end being 1.4 metres). Christine was quick to reply to any questions we had and was very helpful. We have already been looking at dates to come back, thank you for out stay at casa Carra and as a family we are so glad we chose this one!

5 Star villa in a brilliant location
Just returned from a 26 night stay at Casa Carra and overall the experience from start to finish was 5 star. The villa was immaculate and is located in the quiet complex of Las Buganvillas about 10-15 mins walk from the main areas of Playa Blanca. The villa is equipped with everything you would need for an enjoyable holiday and the heated pool is the jewel in the crown. The TV in the main lounge has access to all the channels in the UK including numerous sport and video. There is a local shop only a few minutes walk away which supplies all the basics and there are plenty of supermarkets in Playa Blanca. Taxis are plentiful and only cost around 4 €. All in all we had a memorable holiday and we would not hesitate to back to Casa Carra again.

Casa Carra
Property is on a quiet, select villa estate. On arrival, it was clean and tidy with all facilities you need. Pool was clean and warm. There was a sign in system on a tablet which was a great idea. The location is slightly out of the main part of town. We didn't have a car, but found it was a 15 minute pleasant walk to town.

Perfect Retreat
Fabulous villa that is accurately described on the listing. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Totally private pool and garden - very peaceful yet only a 15/20 minute walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. Communication was first class with the owner. We were a couple only (no kids for a change!!) and it was perfect but villa would suit families equally. Overall faultless and would love to return.

Ideal property for our family holiday
Loved our stay at casa Cara suited our needs. Lazy days around the pool very quiet peaceful area. A 20 minute walk takes you into Playa Blanca plenty of fab places to eat and drink. Loved Playa Blanca lovely cosmopolitan vibe. Great communicatiin with owner who was quick to sort out some minor issues.

Amazing villa for a fantastic holiday
Fantastic villa with everything you could need or ask for provided. Beds very comfortable and the two double rooms a very good size especially the master bedroom with its own patio. Outside space is great with a lovely garden area, super comfy dining area and of course the solar heated pool. The pool was amazing as the heating system meant that it was always a joy to get in to even on the couple of days we had of cloudy weather we could spend ages in the pool without getting cold. Loads of bits and bobs to play with in the pool such as floats and balls which was good as meant we didn’t need to go and buy loads of stuff when we got there. All the appliances are to a high standard and the dishwasher was great for us as we spend a lot of time at the villa with no wash up required. Lovely welcome pack on arrival with a tea and coffee tray, water, juice, milk and even beer and wine which was not only a very thoughtful nice touch but would also mean that if arrived late could get by until got the chance to go shopping the next morning. The owner is so friendly and so quick to reply before the holiday and when we had a couple of minor issue on arrival I had a response within minutes and a couple of things I let her know about on return something not to be underestimated when staying in a villa. The information that is provided before arrive is very thought out and informative and the villa felt very safe. About a 25 minute walk in to the resort centre if happy to walk but taxis only about €3.50 and easy to call and get. If we wanted to stay in playa Blanca again this would be the first villa we would want to return to.

Agréable location tout confort
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la location située dans un quartier calme.l intérieur est divisé en deux espaces nuit avec chacun sa salle de bain et WC, le salon est très grand. L extérieur agreable nous a permis de prendre nos repas matin et soir au grand air et la piscine est extrêmement chaude!

Very peaceful and comfortable property
As a family of four, we enjoyed our stay at the villa. Communication with Christine was excellent and she is very responsive to any queries. The property is in a very quiet, safe location and not overlooked at all. It's an easy 20 minute walk into Playa Blanca town where the beaches and restaurants are and about double that to Marina Rubicon, although this is a lovely walk along the coast path. For both, taxis are easy to find and 4-5 Euros to come back, at the end of the evening. We would highly recommend Christine's property and would certainly rebook if we holiday in Playa Blanca again.

Real home from home
Beautiful Villa. Everything we wanted and more, furnishings superb and super comfortable beds and pillows. Pool warm and inviting, loads of extras, lilo’s ,pool accessories. etc. Lots of British TV channels were a great asset. Nothing was too much trouble for the villa support team, Summing it all up, a brilliant holiday in a brilliant Villa. Schöner Aufenthalt
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung und war sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit Christine und der örtlichen Agentur war problemlos. Der Pool wurde 2 mal pro Woche gereinigt und nach einer Woche Bettwäsche und Handtücher getauscht. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden gerne einmal wiederkommen.

Absolutely fabulous
Everything about renting this villa was perfect. Communication with Christine was excellent and all the info given was spot on. The villa is really lovely. A big indoor space and a gorgeous outdoor space. The linens were good quality and plentiful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were all clean and the showers really good. It’s an easy 20 minute stroll to town and there is also a mini market 5 mins walk away. Taxis are cheap if you choose not to walk back at night, which we did. If we go back to Playa Blanca we will definitely look to book again.

Great villa stay
As a family of 3 generations aged from 10 to 80, the villa was perfect. It had everything we needed. Was close enough to town to stroll in. Bedroom layout great, so grandparents could have their own part. And the pool was properly heated. Possibly the warmest we’ve ever had - and we’ve hired lots of villas. Thanks Christine also for prompt and helpful information from booking until our arrival. And also for allowing us a slightly later check out as we had evening flights, despite you having more guests arriving. Highly recommend. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Beautiful villa with fantasic pool and great location
When we arrived at the villa we were surprised just how big it was. It was clean and spacious and the outdoor space was a delight. Lovely location just a ten minute walk into playa blanca. The villa had everything that we needed as a family...the kids loved the pool and were in it all the time. Fantastically equipt with everything needed. Loved spending time in the villa and enjoyed a couple of relaxed bbqs. We just want to say a big thank to christine ... Fantastic communication throughout booking. We are hoping to visit again very soon. Would highly recommend the villa.

Wow
There really only is one word to describe this villa - WOW. It is truly amazing. Christine is wonderful to deal with and the villa is truly beautiful. The pictures don’t really do it justice. It is like a tardis with rooms everywhere and the added bonus is having your own pool. The villa is equipped with everything you need. We would definitely recommend going to Asia restaurant for dinner - the food is amazing. Thank you to Christine and family for letting us use your beautiful villa to celebrate my 50th birthday xx

Great location & all facilities
Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Cassa Carra for a week in February 2018. Location is ideal as it's not too near front which makes it quiet but within easy walking distance (we hired a car as it was cheap and I have some mobility problems). Pool area is to the south so gets sun all day from 1st light to dusk and is also well sheltered from famous Lanzarote breeze. Pool was ideal temperature at 28 degrees. Wifi was very handy as was access to movies and all TV channels. Rooms were clean with good layout which would be ideal for 2 couples (1 with children). Kitchen had all utilities and plenty of dishes, cutlery and glasses including plastic items for around pool. Would love to go back later this year but fully booked in October. Maybe next year?

wonderful and splendid villa !
As shown on the internet, Casa Carra is indeed splendid and well equipped. As on the other Canarian Islands, a lot of nice restaurants ans shops. Pool water temperature was nice ( but it has not been cleaned during our stay !) Small recommendation: coffeemaker (for non-English tourists who love also coffee) Contatc with owner, Christine, was perfect (and we dit not have to make use of assistance of Mandy, luckily :-) ) We'll spread the word in Belgium ! Perfect Stay (despite the weather)
Just back from a week at Casa Carra (27 Jan to 3 Feb), family of 4 with 3 year old and 1 year old. Couldn’t have asked for more from our accommodation. Villa was a lot larger than we expected. We ended up staying in the master bedroom and twin room on one side of house and using 3rd double bedroom on other side for our bags. We found the garden area larger than expected also. Weather was patchy but we still managed a few afternoons in the pool. The small patio area outside the master bedroom we found to be a real sun trap with very little wind. The film selection was a god send for keeping our 3 year old occupied. Christine was very attentive and easy to deal with before during and after. Villa was well equipped. Large selection of towels which made us question we had brought so many things like towels with us. Villa was outside of main town centre so while walkable some of the area is undeveloped so not most picturesque of walks but it’s easily do-able. We had hired a car so usually drove and after beach and early meal in one of the restaurants on the promenade, drove home early, bathed and bedded kids then shipped them off to bed before relaxing with a drink. It’s why we found space of villa so handy. When arrived home found cheap flights and booked up again for Casa Carra at end of year :-)

Lovely villa on quiet development.
We have recently returned from our second stay at Casa Carra. The villa is located in a quiet development, which suits us, and is a 20 minute stroll to the seafront. It offers home from home accommodation; is very well presented, clean and incredibly well equipped. Christine and Mandy, who manages the villa, are extremely helpful and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. I would recommend Casa Carra to family and friends who were looking to holiday in Playa Blanca.

Villa with a homely feel, very well maintained, good location and highly recommended.
Christine is particularly engaging and dealt with all our enquiries with prompt efficiency. The villa is in a delightful spot close to all amenities and was very clean. All facilities were well maintained and there was a very good selection of utensils and good quality furnishings. We enjoyed time at the beach and pool and it was a quiet location at night so sleep was not a problem. I can highly recommend this property.

Very comfortable villa the beds were the best we have slept in on holiday gd pillows to we haven't came home with sore backs this holiday there has been no skimping on the furniture all the best quality & very comfortable the television has been equipped with a set up allowing access to lost of movies & channels great for the kids time out of the sun .the kitchen is equipped with everything you need the washing machine was a bonus came home with hardly any washing the hot water was always a gd temptuture for showering all the locks on the villa are very secure no rattley windows or patio doors would definitely book this villa again x

Wonderful clean house with lovely warm pool!
We stayed here in mid-August with our 3 kids. The villa was exactly what we were looking for. Clean and well equipped. The highlight was the pool though, it may not be huge but the temperature was just perfect. No having to be brave to get in! The location was great for us, a short drive to Playa Blanca's cafes and shops but the villa location was so peaceful. We'd 100% recommend this villa.

Villa Casa Cara really is a lovely place to stay. It was very clean and well maintained.
We had a lovely week in the villa and we were very happy with how well maintained and equipped it was with modern decor. We will definitely recommend it to friends and hopefully revisit it again. Christine was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had about the villa and who to book the hire car with.

Lovely villa would def book again
We loved loved the villa and had a lovely two weeks here. The villa is much more spacious than the photos show. We had the grandparents staying for part of our holiday and I was worried we would be on top of each other but in fact one of the double bedrooms and bathrooms is very separate to the other two bedrooms which was ideal for us. The kids loved having their own pool and it's the first time I have spent so much time in a pool for years as I hate cold water. Playa Blanca itself is a lovely quiet resort.

Casa Carra - lovely villa in a great location!
We stayed at Casa Carra for two weeks in early July. We were a party of 5 adults and found the villa well kept and the accommodation spacious. The facilities were exactly as described. Christine kept us informed every step of the way and Mandy, who looks after the villa, was really helpful. There is a small shop within 5 mins walk which stocked everything you needed and not overpriced. There is another larger supermarket in the harbour which gives a better selection of goods. It is about 20 minute walk into the harbour where there is a decent selection of restaurants serving everything from paellas to curries. Have a meal in Pedro's and look at the old pictures of Playa Blanca on the wall and a young Pedro. The harbour is not loud and garish but a lovely place to while away a few hours over good food and wine. The harbour front is car free and nice to stroll up and down with a few shops to pop in. There are more restaurants behind on the road which would probably offer better value for money but we didn't try them so cannot comment. We got a taxi back to the villa in the evening which costs about 4.5 Euros (5 Euros for a people carrier) They are in plentiful supply. You could walk if you wanted. Another 20mins along the front and you come to the Rubicon Marina which has a market on Wednesday and Saturdays. There are more restaurants here and well worth a visit although we felt the quality and price of food was better in the Harbour area. Keep an eye out for the fish and crabs! A must to see is the Volcano (and the visitor's centre) , the Caves, Jameos del Agua and the Cactus Gardens. Casa Carra is the quietest place I have stayed ; no dogs barking, no scooters and no people shouting! It is a great villa to stay in and would certainly recommend it to my friends and family.

It is also very helpful to find out the different ways that guests use the villa and appreciate peoples recommendations for restaurants as there are so many to chose from. It is obvious that you have made the most of your holiday and took time to explore some of the experiences of both Playa Blanca and the island. I hope you found time in your busy schedule to relax too.

Superb Villa in good location
We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Casa Carra and it was amazing. The villa was very clean and really well equipped/maintained. There was everything you needed for a very comfortable stay, definitely a home from home (Our 2 teenage children loved the fact they had WIFI whenever they wanted it and the lovely pool was a huge bonus). The air con in the main living room and the 2 double bedrooms was a lifesaver, the smaller twin room didn't have air con but would definitely benefit from it as our 2 children really struggled with heat, especially at night when we didn't want to leave the window open. The complex itself was quiet, well maintained and in a good location with amazing views of the mountains and about 15-20 min walk into the town. We stayed by the pool most days using the small supermarket across the road from the complex for fresh bread/rolls for lunch and then went out in the evenings to sample some of the restaurants recommended by Christine the owner and previous guests. We went to the local market and shops at the Rubicon Marina and also took advantage of some of the water sports available at the beach nearby which was great fun. Christine was a pleasure to deal with right from the time of enquiry through to our return from holiday. Not only that, Mandy, the lady who looks after the property for Christine was very helpful and was on hand to help me when I locked myself out - I'd have been lost without her. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and enjoyed every minute of our stay at Casa Carra. We will definitely recommend the villa to our family and friends and would also love to return again next summer.

Hi Kerrie Many thanks for taking the time to submit your review. It always gives me pleasure to hear that our guests had a good holiday and that Casa Carra played its part in it. Having wifi in the villa was a must for our own family too. It seems that you made the most of your holiday, restaurants, stroll into town and also small local supermarket across from complex. The villa visitors book provides a good insight into where other guest enjoyed dining and doing different activities which are on offer in the area. We will take on board your comment about air-con in the smaller bedroom as the nights can be extremely warm. We look forward to having you back soon.

Outstanding
This was our second holiday at Casa Carra and this time we stayed for three weeks. From the start Christine, the owner, makes the whole booking process very easy and provides lots of information. Who needs a travel agent!!! Life being life, we had a couple of minor issues and a quick text to Christine (international rescue) and she had them resolved, you can't ask for more. The villa has everything you need and more and the villa is located on a nice quiet estate of similar villas. The wifi is obviously a big plus. We enjoyed many evenings cooking on the BBQ and enjoying a few beers round the pool. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this villa and will certainly be back for a third holiday. Thanks Christine We found the nicer places to eat were more in the Marina end of Playa Blanca and you tended to get better value there. If you want to go shopping for food we found it better and cheaper going to Eurospar which does great fish and fresh meats for the BBQ (on the main road just before the Porto Del Carman turn) or cheaper still there is now a Lidl at Porto Del Carman. We also booked a hire car with AutoReisen and we have used them before. Firstly, they seem to be one of the cheapest and their quote includes all the insurances (so if you have an accident there is no excess to pay) and secondly our car did break down (flat battery) and within 60 minutes they arrives with another vehicle and took the other away.

Lovely well kept villa in quiet location.
The villa was very well presented and perfectly clean. We found everything we needed was provided. We found the pool clean and warm and loved just relaxing in the quiet surroundings.

Couldent have asked for more
Carra Casa was the idea villa to chill out with beautiful views of the volcanos. The pool was just perfect to cool of after sunbathing. The villa had everything and more that you needed. The air con was bliss at night and the internet was really good. Also the reception on the TV was great. There are so many beautiful walks you can take from the villa down to the front and the restaurants and a taxi back is less than 5 euros. Such a beautiful villa and so tastefully decorated to a high standard. We didn't want to leave and certainly would love to go back to Carra Casa. Myself and my good wife have taken back with us some great memories. We are so glad we chose this villa as it was so peaceful at night and during the day. Certainly a perfect place and location.
