Perfect
This property was clean and well-maintained, and furnished beautifully. The kitchen was fully equipped and we loved the convenience of the grill. The patio and outdoor space were exactly what we were looking for, and the scenery is stunning. Less than 15 minutes from Deadwood. We would recommend this gem for anyone looking for a comfortable getaway in one of the most beautiful parts of South Dakota. We will be back!

Black hills beauty
Visited from Texas and the black hills never disappoints and neither did this property. We were looking for peace and quiet and the house offered that. Turkeys and deer walked by often and it was delightful to listen, watch the rain from the porch. We have rented other houses from this owner before and they are always so friendly and houses are wonderful. Will be back soon and can’t wait to stay with them again.

Haven Hill Cabin
This property was new and beautiful. Fully stocked, and great views. It is on a low maintenance, steep road so if pulling a trailer or biking just be aware. The only downfall of this property was the lack of cleaning. Living room rug was dirty and stained as was the shower mats. Sheets were put on bed damp, so had to dry everything before use. Had to wipe down vanities etc. Hot tub was not usable due to lack of cleaning as well. This was during rally week so assume they had to turn these over quickly but......So, if the cleaning was under control, I would recommend this cabin.

Excellent stay, and even booked only about 2-4 weeks prior to trip. Great renters, and detailed process to make you feel comfortable about the whole stay. Clean and everything we needed! Privacy and quiet :) Just a quick drive into town. Thanks again for a great stay!

Family vacay 2023
This cabin was beautiful, serene and perfect for my husband and I and our kids. We enjoyed it all. It was stocked with all of the essentials, it was very private and easy to get to. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms and linens were all high quality. We had multiple home cooked meals during our stay and the surrounding area of this cabin had beautiful scenery and a sweet family of deer that we saw morning and night! We would definitely stay here again!

ATV Riding/Cabin Life
Our family came to ride ATV’s, enjoy the peace and quiet, and some Deadwood night life. This cabin was close to Deadwood and ATV trails, and yet peaceful living. Our group had plenty of room to sleep - not quite enough bathroom for us. The pantry in the kitchen is great storage since the kitchen is not as large as we thought from the photos. The hot tub is spacious - easily seats 8 adults. The parking area was also spacious as we parked 4 pick-ups, 4 trailers, and 4 ATV’s. Everything was modern and comfortable.

5 stars for WORST Customer Serive! RUN from Black Hills Adventure Lodging and Budi Kusser.
At checkin of 4 roads were not ready for arrival The terrain mixed with snow made it impossible to get up the incline We slid down the hill got stuck in the bank We were near house to walk to get wifi to call for help We didnt receive answer right away Thinking it might be service we texted family to make call We got ahold of Budi and sheriff to send someone to pull us out Budi scolded us for calling someone else for help After 1 hour the plow driver came He shared this happen often and talked to owner about not renting out in winter because SNOW CHAINS are needed to make it up terrain They advertise needing allwheeldrive vehicle to access the property WeHadThat When talking with Buddi she said thats between the owner and the plow and doesnt concern us We chose not to put party in unsafe situation so got hotels and asked for refund Budi was unprofessional and unwilling to work with us She said she had been to property at 1 with no issues 3 hours prior to our checkintime and the snow She said other renters made it fine but when waiting for plow a party couldnt make it and backed down the hill After these repulsive interactions I did research on her and other properties When there are issue at her properties she turns it on customer and takes no responsibility for issue I expect nothing less from her when responding to this review DO YOUR RESEARCH to see how she operates We got the cleaning fee back and nothing more

Great Cabin, Great Neighborhood
Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Cabin is well kept, and very spacious. With the cabin being secluded, it made great for privacy during our trip. A very short drive into Deadwood as well. Highly recommend!
