We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Galini Palace Resort Hotel. The overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful throughout, as the hotel is located in a quiet area away from the main tourist crowds. The Highlights: The absolute star of the hotel is the pool area - it is large, beautiful, crystal clear, and offers great view of the sea. The staff were also extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food variety in the dining room was impressive, and while not every dish was to our personal taste, we always found plenty to enjoy. Areas for Improvement: There were a few minor issues that kept this from being a true 5-star experience: Pool Hours: The pool hours are quite limited (10:30 AM – 6:30 PM). We felt it would be much better if it opened earlier and stayed open later in the evening, especially during the long summer days. Room Amenities: For a 5-star hotel, we expected more luxury touches. For example there were no bathrobes, and it was disappointing to be charged an extra daily fee to use the room safe. Maintenance & Cleanliness: The showerhead in our room was completely clogged. Also, there was a strange, strong smell of cleaning products in the hallway outside our room, which wasn't very pleasant. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful setting. With a little more attention to the small details and operating hours, it would be perfect.

We stayed for a week and the hotel was perfect. Anna and the rest of the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. The food was great and the pool was luxurious. Highly recommend The Donus Blanc for your stay in Chania!

We had such a lovely stay! From the staff that helped us understand the area, breakfast and dinner come directly to our room to eat by the pool and the cleaning as soon as they see us leave waiting to make the best experience possible!
