Lovely weekend in Tam Valley
We had a really fantastic stay at Thea's house in Tam Valley! The house was in the best location - a short drive over the hill to Stinson Beach, and within walking distance to one of our favorite grocery stores, Good Earth. A lovely, quiet neighborhood, and right next to a wonderful park where we took our dog to run and play with other local dogs. The house was super clean and provided lots of space to spread out and relax. We had a mix of weather...mostly beautiful sunny days, but also one day of cold rain. We used the back garden patio to read, enjoy the sun, and play with our pup. We also used the wonderful fireplace to warm up on the cold day. The kitchen was great with plenty of space for two people to cook, and my husband loved the thoughtful coffee set up. We will definitely be back to Thea's place for future visits to Marin. She was super responsive to texts or questions, and a most gracious host. Thank you so much for making a pet-friendly space so welcoming and enjoyable! We absolutely loved it!

Amazing Garden
Our stay at Thea's house offered more than we expected. The back patio and garden were spectacular. The house was centrally located. We'd like to come back and stay again.

This place is a hidden gem. We felt as if we were staying at a Italian Villa. There are lush gardens front and back, the decor of the house is relaxed, warm and inviting, there was even a bottle of wine welcoming us ! San Francisco is just a bridge ride away, J & M Timmons

Our trip was amazing. Thea’s house was perfect for us. It has everything a family needs. The kitchen was well stocked. The yard and gardens were beautiful. We brought our dog and the property borders up to a dog park with a private entrance from the backyard. All of that was perfect. Mill Valley is a great location as well.

Great Experience
We loved this little house in Mill Valley. We have a family of six and it checked all the boxes for us. The front and back yards boast beautiful gardens and the house itself was well equipped. Its only a 15-20 min drive into San Francisco and just a few minutes away from the Muir woods. We found it to be the perfect location for a San Francisco vacation. Thea, the owner, was fantastic. She communicated with us very well, but not more than what was needed. Everything went very smoothly from check in to check out!

Best for exploring
This was our second stay at Thea’s Marin house. We love it as a safe, cute and quiet base camp for all that Marin and the city have to offer. It’s right near the Tennessee Valley hiking trails and only minutes from Sausalito and the city. We LOVE it and will be back again I’m sure! Thea is a great host and all our needs were met. It’s even dog friendly which is a huge bonus!

San Francisco/Muir Woods visit
The home was clean, and decorated nicely. The beds had temperpedic mattresses. The home has two bedrooms, and one bathroom. FYI, there is no bathroom vent to air out, but a window does open. Plenty of dishes, and kitchen items for cooking. One of our family members loved making cappuccino each morning! Good instructions for use of fireplace, TV's check-out process. Wish we could have enjoyed the outdoor patio, but due to rain, were unable to. We felt very safe in this area (Mill Valley seemed like a really cute town). The owner (Thea), left a lovely gift for us ♡ We spent time in San Francisco, and Muir Woods (each are approximately 10 minutes away). A beautiful area and a fun, and beautiful trip!

Great dog friendly home!
We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday while visiting our daughter who is in law school in San Francisco. We needed something dog friendly and close to the city. This property did not disappoint! Beautiful property in quiet, safe neighborhood and so close to the city. Our two senior dogs as well as my family had a wonderful visit. Communication with Thea, the owner was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this property!!

Location, location, location!
We have stayed in other areas of SF and this is by far the best area due to its proximity to nature trails, Sausalito Ferry, views of GG Bridge, Point Reyes, numerous beaches, Muir Woods, Mount Tamalpais, etc. This house is so close to grocery stores and no need to try to navigate curvy, narrow roads as the house is located in the valley. Thea was an excellent communicator and the welcome card and wine were extra special touches.

Great home
This was the perfect spot near beautiful Mill Valley. The house was so homey and comfortable for us to relax. The house was equipped with everything, even an espresso machine. The beds were sooo comfy (usually the downfall of a lot of places). The outdoor patio was a bonus with gardens and trees. Located near the bike paths, we easily pedaled to Sausalito for lunch and mt biked some trails on Mt Tam. Thea was a great host; communicating everything clearly. We will definitely come back! Thank you Thea.

Amazing property!

Lovely property, Great Location. 5 Stars
We enjoyed our stay at this Mill Valley gem. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything my family needed for our stay, including a high chair for my baby, an espresso maker and every kitchen appliance known to man. The backyard garden is heaven! And there is a great park right behind the house with access directly next to the front of the house. We enjoyed walking to the park every afternoon with our baby. I would definitely recommend this property. We had a great stay.

Birthday weekend!
Beautiful property all around! The house is very clean and open with gorgeous windows and doors that open up to the backyard. Very relaxing environment for reading and just hanging out anytime of the day. Great quiet neighborhood with cute park right behind the home. Close to lots of adventures and restaurants etc. We will definitely book this home again.

Tranquil and Central
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Thea's home. The garden is even more lovely than the pictures. It was a very easy trip across the bridge into San Francisco and such a nice retreat to come home too at the end of a sightseeing day. We also loved how close it was to Muir woods. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The dining room gets really nice sun during the day. My daughters loved the reclining sofa for watching TV. Pretty dishes and plush towels were a nice bonus. The kitchen has just about every appliance you can imagine and lots of spices. Thea checked in on us periodically to make sure that we had everything that we need. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway for Escape from Alcatraz Race
This was the perfect house for our week trip to attend the Escape from Alcatraz race. It is only 15-20 minutes from the venue and close to all amenities and downtown. The house is located in a quiet area and is was easy to get in/out of the city and their are lots of nearby trails to play on.

Perfect Getaway
Our stay was extremely pleasant. The home is beautiful, and comes equipped with everything you need. And the gardens are gorgeous. The location is wonderful, with walking distance to a fantastic grocery store, pizza place/beer garden, and new donut shop! Our kids loved that the house was literally adjacent to the playground at Kay Park. Thea was very responsive and helpful. It was a perfect escape.

Family Reunion

Lovely comfortable home right by a park
The house is light filled and spacious, with terracotta floors and a bank of glass doors opening on to a large plant filled back yard. The kitchen and dining space are wonderful and the living room large and comfortable. Beds are good and bath room is clean. Thea was friendly provided clear communication. We loved our stay and will be back!

We loved it!
We stayed at this wonderful home for a week and it was everything that was listed online. We love the serenity, the location, the gorgeous garden in the back, the comfortable beds, and the wonderfully equipped kitchen. The neighborhood and park behind the house are so sweet and the house had everything that we needed which made our lives so much easier while traveling. Thea was a great host and we could not have found a better spot to relax while visiting family.

Thanksgiving Stay
We had a wonderful stay here over the Thanksgiving weekend with our son and daughter-in-law. While we didn't cook or host dinner here, we were impressed by the well-equipped kitchen that has everything you could possibly need. The house is cozy and comfortable - just right for relaxing. We loved the couches and set-up in the living room. The fireplace was great. having the beautiful garden to look at while eating was soothing and it's so conveniently located by a park and dog park. We appreciated the dog-friendly hiking recommendations and the many nature trails nearby.

Perfect place to recover from surgery!
I flew in from Florida for a surgery in San Francisco. I recovered at this home in Mill Valley and it was truly perfect. The bed is comfortable and adjustable. There is a snuggly recliner sofa in the main living space with a fireplace and nice size TV. The kitchen is adorable and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. Grocery stores and sweet downtown area nearby. The backyard courtyard was beautiful with lots of birds to watch. Highly recommend this place!

Great Stay
This is a wonderful place to stay!! We liked everything about the home. The furniture, the beds were all good. The kitchen was nice and well stocked. It is close to The Good Earth market, Whole Foods and Safeway. Nice back yard for my son's dog to run, and a park to take the dog to behind the home. We will definitely come back!! Blessings!! Mill Valley Garden Escape
Here for my daughter's wedding in Sausalito (10 minutes away) - perfect place to chill and central to lots of activites like Muir Woods. and the Mill Valley town center. Host was attentive and even delivered a bike pump for the bikes when I asked! Memory foam beds were dreamy!

We had a lovely time staying at Thea’s MV cottage. Her home is cozy, clean, and in a great location. We loved and worked here for a week with our two dogs. Lovely house and garden. Kitchen really well stocked. 8 minutes walk to Good Earth grocery store and Hookfish restaurant as well as Shorelien coffee shop and a few other eateries. Owner Thea was communicative and helpful. Short drive to downtown Mill Valley which is just lovely. Great spot for a holiday home.

Lovely home in a great location
We had a great time staying a Thea’s home. The location is great for winding down after exploring San Francisco as it is in a lovely quiet area.Thea’s home is well equipped with everything we needed and the garden is lovely too.We felt really safe as it is in a great neighbourhood. There are several shops and supermarkets nearby which was an added bonus. We are really pleased we chose this accommodation and hope to return in the future.

Perfect spot for native daughter to visit family.
This sunny house has all the comforts of home and a well equipped kitchen and ample dining room, which made it easy to invite my parents for a nice meal. I really appreciated herbs in the garden and decent knives and cutting boards. Location is on the flat, no windy roads and easy walk to gourmet grocery and pharmacy. Already planning to come again. There is a park adjacent to house, and it would be a great place for grandchildren, if we had them. Nice boardwalk stroll to waterfront was a plus, right near house.

Family birthday
My daughters and I wanted to celebrate my husband's 75th birthday without driving too far from our home in the Bay area. We all love to hike and we enjoy good food but wanted to avoid crowds due to COVID. Thea's place looked perfect with it's large airy dining room, pretty garden, and room for our dog. Labor Day weekend this year saw record breaking temperatures across California. It was in the 80s in Mill Valley but well over 100 almost everywhere else. We did not need to run the air conditioner as the fresh air was wonderful. We looked for dog-friendly hikes near us. The first day we walked towards the ocean via the Rhubarb trail and the Mi Wok trail. It was steep but there were breezes and the views were fantastic. The second day we walked towards the bay to Sausalito. Both hikes were fun and we enjoyed the variety without having to get in the car. We got takeout food from a nearby restaurant that Thea suggested and it was a perfect meal for our birthday celebration. Our dog is used to sleeping in a kennel so we brought it with us. This gave her a safe place to be when we wanted to leave her behind. She told us about the children walking to the nearby park at first, but after a 7 mile hike she was quite content to sleep. We all enjoyed our weekend getaway at Thea's beautiful home. It is close to many potential adventures.

Wonderful Mill Valley Retreat
We had a great time in this lovely house for our stay in Mill Valley. The garden was beautiful and it was very close to a lot of nice hiking trails. The kitchen was very well stocked.

Bright and Sunny
I loved staying in the home. It was warm and comfortable, incredibly well stocked, lots of light and a beautiful yard. Very comfy bed and everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Also incredibly convenient to a grocery store and the freeway.

Beautiful Location
This home was beautiful and peaceful nestles near the Muir Woods. We couldn't be happy with the location. Thea was a communicative and helpful host. This was an ideal vacation setting for any guest.

Wonderful Place for the whole family
This home was nothing short of amazing. There wasn’t anything that was missing that we didn’t need. Kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathroom. Washer and Dryer was perfection.The backyard was heaven for the kids, and the back door to that dropped us of at the park was better than imagined. Thea was amazing and the communication was simple. She made us feel like part of her own family with her communication.
