Poco recomendado
Las fotos no se corresponden, el estado del apartamento es viejo, la cocina y baño sobre todo. Llegamos y la ducha no funcionaba bien, no la cambiaron y no había luz, solo funcionaba una lámpara en todo el apartamento . La camarera de piso solucionó el problema, no la dirección del hotel que estaba alertado y no hizo nada. El inodoro podías moverlo😳, Sara mandó dos hombres el segundo día y lo arreglaron. Estas cosas deberían hacerlo antes de la entrada.

Ok, aber Potenzial nach oben
Da wir keine großen Ansprüche haben, war das Hotel durchaus ok. Der Poolbereich - wegen dem wir das Chester ausgewählt hatten - war allerdings recht enttäuschend. Zudem waren wir etwas irritiert, dass vieles nur für 1 Person vorgesehen war: 1 Dusch- und 1 Händehandtuch, 1 Tasse mit 1x Instantkaffee, 1 Wasser. Auf unsere Bitte hin haben wir zumindest ein zweites Duschhandtuch bekommen. In der letzten Nacht fehlte der Bettbezug (d.h. auf dem dünnen Laken zum Zudecken lag die nackte Bettdecke), das fanden wir etwas unhygienisch. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut geeignet für Westler, man fühlt sich sicher; direkt gegenüber befindet sich ein leckeres Restaurant.

Top place for all your Nairobi ttd- things to do!
I truly love staying at Chester House -it is my home away from home! The place is clean, staff is friendly, & professional & go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as you want it to be! CH is perfectly situated close to everything -highway, local transport, walking distance to all CBD places one needs -supermarkets, government/business offices, church, gym, clubs, restaurants etc you name it & Chester is close to it!

Am overall pleased with my stay. the staff were cooperative and welcoming. The location is wow Though problems could occur they should be fixed on time. I was a bit annoyed for not being able to enter my room whenever I wanted because of the problem with the room card was not fixed throughout my stay.

Super Hotel and Service
The Hotel is really Good. The room are Nice and Big with everything you ask for. The service at the Hotel from cleaning to the reception is very Good and very professional. I can really recommend this place.

The property is centrally located, facilities are great. I didn't like the services, staff are rude no courtesy, trailed me when I was taking breakfast, tried to make me sign a document before I take breakfast despite telling staff that I'll pay after I finished breakfast.Water was cold, I was allowed to take a shower in alternative room which had hot water, while I was taking shower, house keeper came, knocked at the door, I couldn't hear because I was in a shower, house keeper then broke chain that secures the door while I was in shower room. Hotel appears to want customers money fast, offers poor services and no apologetic about it. I wouldn't recommend the facility for a friend unless there's much staff customer service care. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Firstly, the staff were fabulous, trying their very best. Secondly, the property is fast running down. I moved into a room where the toilet flushing system has no water supply. Further, some parts of bathroom were missing (though by no means affecting the usage. Thirdly, the wifi is pretty poor, with no access in many parts of the bedroom. to resolve the water problem, the staff helped to move me to another room. However, the other problems existed. All in all, I think the issues are systemic management problems, probably trying to save money in many small ways. But still kudos to the staff who work to cope with the lapses.

Hotel was in great location however wifi almost never worked, we only managed to connect once during our 2 night stay which is frustrating after 30 hours travel and wanting to let family know you've arrived safely. We also had no hot water on our first morning as our hot water system was turned off. We turned it on and waited an hour or so and then showered. The hot water system was very loud and made a smokey smell so we ended uo turning it back off and on an hour or so before we wanted to shower. We were also only provided 1 towel between the 2 of us. We had organised a transfer from the airport through the hotel for 25 USD. We arnt from the USA so didnt have US cash but were told by the hotel we had to pay our driver in USD cash and couldnt pay via visa at the hotel. This was annoying and frustrating, how would we access USD when the local currency is kenyan shillings? The next day one of the staff members sorted it and we paid on card but we should have been able to do this initially on arrival. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean.

Not worth it.
We had no wifi so we complained and asked to either fix it or change room. Took 6 hours before they actually moved us. The next room had wifi but extremely hot. No air and no screen on the window but we had to open windows. Mosquitos came in and we couldn't sleep much. We asked to change the room again but they ignored our request. The room was big with a kitchen which was great but there were no utensils nor pots or pans provided. Location is very convenient.

The hotel is located in the middle of city center with only 1-2 minutes to all shopping, dinning and travel agents. The hotel itself is a commercial building with office in another block.

Need revamping
Hotel rooms were spacious but very dusty and old rags which need to be vacuumed or swept. It stank. Hot water system need to be improved as every time you turned it on you'd have to be real quick as it would change into cold water after 2 minutes! The door latches are broken and you can't lock yourself inside the rooms which was scary. Overall it was an average experience. Towels were not as clean as they should
