Hello Ms. Susan.Thank you for staying at the Walker Hotel Greenwich Village. we do apologize for the inconvenience with the heat during your stay. The hotel we operate on a 2-pipe system. This means we either provide cool air or hot air but not both. We are due to switch to the ac unit that provide the cool air soon. We do provided the guest with information on how to turn off the heat which was to put the thermal on auto and off to stop. I do apologize for the information not being provided to you during your stay. I hope you do book with the Walker Hotel Greenwich Village in the future.
