“We had an absolutely delightful stay at the charming sanctuary that is Sweetbriar guesthouse. The hosts have thought of everything to ensure guests are comfortable. The guesthouse is clean and organized and the views from the picture windows are gorgeous!”

“All I would say is worst experience ever me and my friends weren’t aware of someone staying in the house + cameras in the house which is illegal in vrbos policy, the owner stated 4 rooms but we only got 2 available to us she said “drinking + smoking is acceptable” she also stated we can play loud music and she won’t mind and we said okay we started partying it was only 4 of us one of my friends had threw up on small parts of her steps and we attempted to clean it up ourselves instead of getting...

“We loved everything about our stay here! We stayed for the weekend with our dog and he loved being outside in the fenced in area. We went on hikes and appreciated the breakfast so so much!! Making a fire every night was also a highlight. The host is so sweet and we look forward to staying here again!”

“I have never stayed in such a unique place. The staff was accommodating to my early morning and made me a special yogurt parfait. The room had everything that a five star hotel has….even a heat lamp in the bathroom! It is the very definition of quaint luxury.”

“We visited my daughter in Stamford and we rented this lovely Loft for the week. Everything what you needed was there and we highlx recommend this place. Also New York City was just a 45min trainride away. Nishath was just a nice host and always answered real quick.”

“*Warning* Hotel does not refund you the security deposit. It has been nearly 3 weeks since our stay and I have left around 5 voicemails and have called more than 15 times... No answer or call back. Not worth the price especially on top of the 250 dollars they never refund you back. They also don’t disclose that on Sunday at about 2 am their irrigation system turns on for about 30 minutes and it sounds like the house is falling apart. Woke up the whole family and scared the kids.”

“From the moment we came we felt right at home! Such a comfortable place to stay! Every morning we were greeted by a beautiful bald eagle on the lake as well as the chitter chatter of birds. For those who have a hard time climbing stairs, this is NOT the place for you. Bedrooms as well as bathrooms are not on the main level. No matter we would definitely want to stay again!”
