El hotel cuenta con instalaciones completas. Las habitaciones son espaciosas. Está algo alejado del centro de Charleston. Excepto el housekeeper hay muy mala atención del personal de recepcion. Salvo alguna excepción. En las dos noches que nos alojamos no limpiaron la habitación y al llegar faltaba jabón y shampoo y café. Tuve que pedirlo en la recepción. Pero lo más grave fue quemó respetan la publicidad del hotel donde anuncian un desayuno a $5 y sin embargo nos dijeron que por ese precio no tienen desayuno. Les mostré la publicación y de muy mala manera me dijeron que no había tal oferta y se desentendieron del tema .

Ants on table beside bed. Not enough towels in room. The bistro was not open. No complimentary coffee with the bistro being closed. Would have liked to had a microwave in the room.

Our check-in experience was far from acceptable. Our counter person struggled to input our information correctly, and after signing off on my credit card, I was told there was an error and the transaction needed to be processed again. After a lengthy period of time straightening out our charges (with the help of another counter attendant), we were directed to our room. We didn't realize we were not instructed on the location of hotel amenities such as pool, ice machines or dining areas. After exploring the hotel on our own, we figured those things out ... no big deal. However, going down for our complimentary breakfast the following morning, we were told that we needed to present the breakfast vouchers given to us at check-in. Needless to say, we received no vouchers, another oversight of the counter attendant at check-in. Our attempt to explain fell on deaf ears, so ultimately we needed to find another restaurant in the area for breakfast ... inconvenient, and now we're out another $30. The complimentary breakfast promised during our booking was a contributing factor as to why we chose this hotel in the first place. Obviously, staff should be fully trained in order to prevent this type of oversight from happening.

Thank you for response. Breakfast was not included in your rate or reservation. This location does not have complimentary breakfast, nor do we currently have any package deals with Expedia that would include breakfast. The website does say this under amenities. If you have something that says otherwise please let me know and I will be happy to investigate.

The property was in disrepair. The HVAC unit in my room made loud noises when it was turned on. The room had an odd odor to it and housekeeping services were not available as a result of COVID policies.

My only issue was the tv remote was a pain in the but. Every time you pushed the buttons, there would be a delay before it appeared on the tv. This made putting in my password for Netflix a real pain. Other than that, I’d gladly stay there again. The staff was polite.

Although property was really nice, there were limited parking spots over the weekend, we had to park at an adjacent hotel, which was a little suspect especially later at night.

Immediate attention needs to addressed with this establishment concerning the guest rooms. The room we stayed in (231) had mold and mildew in the shower. The phone in the room did not work. The faucet around the sink had a leak and the guide on the TV stopped working. This is totally unacceptable. Those rooms should have been blocked from any guests staying there. When I went to the front desk, the clerk was aware of the situation, but made no attempts to place us in another room or fix the issues. I was coughing the entire time of my stay. I was not informed prior to making the reservations that there was a $50/day fee for incidentals. We weren't informed your room is cleaned every other day and we would have to inform the desk if we wanted our room clean. The tags you hang on the door for (i.e. sleep in) were not in placed in our room. When checking out, I asked the gentlemen when I would receive my refund. He informed me, we were going to be charged for parking at the hotel, and other incidentals that we were not informed prior to making the reservations or upon arrival. We are totally disappointed with the hotel situation and requesting a refund or some type of compensation. I would really like to attach pictures of the mold but it doesn't show that option

Thank you for your response. I apologize your stay was not what you expected. All fees, holds, and policies are listed on the Expedia website. The fees when booking are listed in your "Pay Details" before confirmation, however the agent you spoke to did choose to refund those for you. I will address your other concerns with maintenance directly. Thank you.

We stayed two nights during Easter weekend and enjoyed it very much. Our room was very clean and my husband and I both talked about how comfortable the bed was multiple times. Only downside is not having complimentary breakfast but we didn’t mind that much. Staff was very professional and find. We will most definitely stay here again, only 20 mins to downtown or 30 to the beach so it was perfect for the price.
