Brand new property, Japanese style accommodation, with mattresses on the floor and walking without shoes inside the premises...free onsite parking, superb helpful and welcoming staff, free Odon noodle session, very good amenities, very fast internet, good sized room to Japanese standard, sumptuous breakfast, enough varieties for Vegans and Vegetarians. A bit limited compared with meat/fish and egg dishes, but enough to fill up. Value for money hotel, with lifetime Japanese living experience. The Breakfast Buffet food is labelled in English and Japanese, thus no need for enquiry from staff about content and ingredients.

The food was one of the best. We stayed two nights. It would have been better, if we could choose to stay without meal, because we found 2 meals a day was too much.

The hospitality of Nori-san, Chie, and their family made our stay so enjoyable. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort and shared wonderful details about their beautiful, nutritious, farm-to-table meals. We even got to tour their farm, learn about rice planting, and spot a precious firefly. The house is bright and clean, overlooking rice paddies, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. It's also centrally located in Akita, making it easy to visit spots like Lake Tazawa, Dakigaeri Valley, and Kakunodatemachi Samurai district.
