"This was the sixth time we have stayed in this house, which has been updated by Nicole in the past few years. We saw porpoises, seals, and a variety of seabirds from the house and collected so much seaglass from the beach. The price has certainly increased and is on the higher end, but the location, house, and guest cottage are excellent"

"Everything about our stay was fantastic! The location was the perfect place for any weather from sun to rain, with plenty of space indoors/outdoors/and even a screened in covered porch. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfy deck chairs to the sounds of waves lapping below and gulls calling. It was so utterly peaceful that even if you didn’t leave the house to venture into Acadia or Bar Harbor (both extremely close) you could still call it a vacation well spent! "This house was perfectly located off the main road around Mt Desert Island. Less than 10 minutes into Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, but also close enough to the mainland for easy travel in and out. House was clean and enough room for 2 people and a large dog. While the property is dog friendly, there is no fence in the yard. Great stay in the off season!"

"Staying here for the second time to visit Acadia NP. Very friendly staff, 24 hour coffee and cookies. Room service is by request once in 3 days, but fresh towels are available if needed daily. Breakfast menu is good with hot sausages, omlettes, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit choices but is the same every day. About 6 miles away from Bar Harbor downtown. The property area is clean with nice flower beds."
