¡Quedarse en esta casa es como estar justo en el acantilado del océano! A solo unos pasos de la senda del bluff, esta casa de Sea Ranch tiene una hermosa vista de Black Point y es ideal para perros para un miembro de la familia peludo.

Esta casa cuenta con un plano de planta abierto. En la planta baja, la gran sala es abierta y acogedora. Mira el océano desde la sala de estar, la cocina o mientras estás en la mesa del comedor. Lea el libro que ha querido comprar o pase tiempo mirando el océano.

Excellent property and location
We were two couples and the house was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the living space comfortable. The deck was a wonderful setting for breakfast. The only down side was the upstairs bedroom was quite cold, and its bathroom even colder. The Vacasa office gave us a space heater to use and that helped.

Great Location, Very Comfortable
Having stayed at many Sea Ranch rentals over the years, we were very pleasantly surprised by how nicely appointed and comfortable this property was given the reasonable rate. The location is great with blue and white water views and is right across the street from the trailhead. The fenced yard was a nice bonus for our dog and he (and we) loved taking in the views from the great large windows in the living room. The kitchen was well appointed making it easy to cook meals. A few minor things that should be addressed include both sliders and screen doors are very difficult to open, the stove fan is super loud but necessary to use less you trigger the smoke alarm, the master bedroom mattress is getting a little saggy. Overall we loved this home and will definitely rent again here.

Great house & location!
The quick access to the bluff trail and the partial ocean view are fantastic! The house itself is very nice architecture with large windows. Vacasa was very prompt in handling a minor issue or two. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property, Poorly managed
Location great, decor great, good amenities and stocked well, however sheets were musty and bed was covered in dust and small hairs. Cobwebs and dust bunnies everywhere, caked on food on utensils. Contacted Vacasa and the attitude was like "well what do you want us to do". No apology, no offering to amend, just "do you want to request a work order?" Uh....DUH. They dropped new sheets and of course they smelled CLEAN a total opposite from the musty dusty sheets we had to sleep on the first two nights.

Perfect tasteful home by the sea
We have stayed in at least a dozen properties at Sea Ranch. This one was by far the most tasteful and home-like of all of them. It was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, the view was fantastic. The top floor was a bit chilly at night but I think that could have been resolved with a call to the manager and we just decided not to bother. We missed having a hot tub but all the other advantages of this lovely home were an adequate compensation.

Really gorgeous spot very close to walking paths and within walking distance to two gorgeous beaches. It was quiet when we were there, often we were the only people on the beach.

Not out first stay here.
We came back because we have loved our two previous stays at this property. We won't be back. We were so disappointed. The place has generally gone downhill, just getting old I guess. The kitchen was such a disappointment: No Keurig machine, but a drip coffeemaker. Ok, but there was no coffee for it, If you ever have an hour to waste, Google making drip coffee with Keurig cups and then try it. Ugh. We bought ground coffee in town the day after we arrived and left it for the next unwitting guests. The range is haunted, I think. I would turn on all four burners and wait to see which one(s) heated up. It was never the same. Only one side of the toaster works. There was not a single piece of aluminum foil, plastic wrap or a zip lock bag to be found. We bought those and bought them home. Frying pans are old and inadequate. Not a cookie sheet/roasting pan to be found. Out of your control but your listing should probably include the view-obstructing house going up across the way.

Misrepresentation
Such a disappointment and frustration-daughter injured after fall from deck-falling hazard as the deck is all one color and there are four plus steps which, visually, blend. The view-not as shown-construction of home taking up 60 per cent of view- on a good day there were only five trucks on site and on a bad day nine trucks ! Two of the four burners on the stove worked. This issue has been brought up before by renters-the property manager tried to explain but reception at the time of the call was poor. But, really is there any good reason for part of the stove not working for an extended period of time? There is mold on the bath tile and area surrounding the area where bath connects with tile. Provisions- no Kleenex, no aluminum foil... Last evening we tried to use the microwave oven and couldn’t make that happen. Such a disappointment and so misrepresented-your Sea Ranch picture of the view is not what you now see-you see a construction sight and trucks, many trucks. We are leaving today and in all honesty I am angry. This vacation was in celebration of my husbands seven month battle with cancer treatment.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was wonderful - so close to the ocean and walking. It was nice to be able to bring our family dog along and she enjoyed it as well. There were heating problems but the management took care of it very promptly so all was good again.

Fun weekend with my girls
I love the location and the house is very spacious .My Daughter slept in front of the fireplace both nights and the rooms with the twin beds were perfect for the teens .The Kitchen really needs an up grade , not all the burners on the stove worked properly. I would stay again if the kitchen gets upgraded.

Superb Location
We spent a weekend at Whitley retreat and the location is very nice - you are on the Pacific Oceana and the view is magnificent. The house is adequate, clean but a lot of things are showing their age. the stove has only 2 burners working; the carpet has seen better days, the kitchen is old and sparsely appointed... But you are on vacation and not here to spend your time inside anyways...

Some good, some less so.
Lovely location and view, close to bluff trail at Sea Ranch. House well designed and sited. As others have pointed out, this house needs some TLC and Vacasa could do a better job at making sure the lights are working, etc. It was clean, the beds comfortable. We had a lovely family 2 birthday party! We hope to return and find new stove (current one rusty with crooked burners) and some other improvements.

Fox at Sunset
Loved the Chapel and rambling walks on the bluffs and beaches. Nice house well supplied in great location with ocean view and a fox who takes a sunset walk across the yard while deer graze on neighboring grass.

The location is terrific!! Just walk across the street to enjoy all of the hiking you want to do. At the end of a cul-de-sac, so very private and peaceful. The house is a little quirky but easy to overlook because of the price and location. Would recommend!! Tom S.

In need of desperate facelift and deep cleaning
Loved the location, price is right. The house is in desperate need of declutter, cleaning, and facelift. Yes even though it should feel homey yet it looks like you walked into your friends grandmas house, with a lot of stuff everywhere making you uncomfortable to touch anything - even in the kitchen. Vacation homes need to call for some luxury and style. Not a garage sale collection. Sorry! Please read the previous reviews Would certainly come again if some changes

Very clean and spacious
This is a spacious and clean home. We had plenty of room and a deck where I could read and look at Black Point in the distance. Most remarkable was a very well organized kitchen with good tools and miracle upon miracle, spices and herbs for cooking!! Labels were helpful for finding pots, pans and utensils and put them away in the right place. Lovely walk to the beach.

If you’re looking for the latest decor not here. BUT comfortably inviting like coming home. Enjoy cooking with family & friends in a great room / home atmosphere, never missing the camaraderie or the beautiful view. After 30 years of coming to SR this is biggest bang for the $. Spent two weeks with my brother enjoing our final visit, what a most beautiful time together and this place and time is most precious to me and our family, Thank You! A home by the ocean was an incredible find - Wonderful!
This has been the best home we have booked to date. Spacious, quiet, a perfect getaway for the two of us. The ocean and beach was a perfect place to reconnect. I feel we left with a renewed sense of who we are as a couple. Basically, fantastic!

Four sisters....one dog....four nights of perfection
This house is in a lovely location. Very close to the bluff trail which was perfect for four sisters ranging in age from 61 to 68 to walk along. The house is somewhat modest but we felt it was priced to match the accommodations. Would stay here again!

Fun but buggy.
Overall our stay was comfortable and for an excellent value. The location to the ocean was very nice. There must have been a storm out at sea one night as the wave roar was quite loud. Soothing. Our only issues were the weevil infestation and some lights did not work. I have light allergies and was surprised that there were no tissues or napkins. Not sure if those are considered item we should have brought.
