Lovely view and relaxing retreat
This cute little place was a perfect retreat for us. Amazing views from the house and deck, and the perfect little yard for our small doggo. The view took my breath away when we first walked in. Comfy bed and furniture, and close to several fun beaches.

As Pictured- Better in Person
Lovely and private and everything that was promised for a couple's retreat. Close to Newport and our favorite restaurant- Local Ocean. Nice quality construction, better-made than it appears in the photos. Surprise thoughtfulness of a towel-warmer already getting towels toasty! The landscaping in front is mature and tidy, so you are surrounded by beauty. Large windows with the sweeping ocean views, and lovely garden views from the kitchen window. We loved it here. Thank you!

Perfect little cottage
This place is perfect for a couple wanting to get away. You can see the ocean right from the living room. There’s a nice side yard for you pup. I feel the kitchen could use some attention. The only frying pan has almost all of the non-stick surface all scratched off, and it’s far from non-stick anymore. Other than that, it was amazing. We will definitely be back. We’ll just bring our own pan :)

Lovely views, quiet refuge
Driftwood Cottage is a very clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay. It is conveniently located near larger cities and has lovely beaches nearby. I recommend this place and I would love to come back again.

Awesome Getaway

Our 70th birthdays getaway / caregiving break week
Thank you for all the extra touches. It was a very comfortable stay for the two of us. The weather cooperated, and the resident whale was there for a few days so the deck was perfect. We like to cook in so just thought we'd pass on our thoughts for a couple small extras if you have a list going to add as time goes by: measuring cups, colander, a pasta stirrer, kitchen towels, placemats, napkins - tho made due quite well with what was there.

Perfection
The location couldn’t be better. Easy and quick drive to locations in Seal Rock, Waldport, and Newport. Access to the beach is very close - and if you’re not on the beach you want to be on the cottage’s deck. The cottage itself is cozy, inviting, and a wonderful place to relax and just be “present” in the scenery and the Oregon coast vibe. Would highly recommended the cottage if you want a laidback and informal space to unwind or to take advantage of the central coast. It was the perfect place to spend an anniversary.

Cozy Cottage

Great location!! Easy to get to Newport for dining and attractions but also a great place to stay if you want to go south and hike, look at tide pools or other local attractions.

Cute romantic beach cabin
Great views and cute place! The weather was record breaking warm (rare at the OR coast) and there were no fans. Some pet smells.

Beautiful Getaway
This property is perfect for a couples weekend away. We spent most of our time out on the deck, enjoying the view. The beach is just a couple blocks south on the 101. We were able to watch sea lions in the surf. Would definitely love to come back for a stay during the whale migration.

Great little bench cabin
This was our very first booking Vrbo. I have to say it was much less hassle than Airbnb. This was a very tastefully decorated little place to unwind and relax and enjoy. We had everything we needed including puppy treats and a nice little yard for our 2 Goldendoodle’s. Everyone we met on our beach walk was super nice. We will definitely come back or refer a friend or family member. Thanks so much for a stress free weekend away from home.

Beautiful view but disappointed with the condition of the house. Rusted window screens. Deck slider needs fixing as does the slider screen. Never did find deck outdoor lighting.

fabulous!
I loved staying in this little cottage. It had great views and was very quiet, private, peaceful, and romantic. Walking around the garden and lounging on the sunny deck with the ocean right there was definitely my favorite part. The restaurants near by had really good food and the beach access was also easy to get to. Would highly recommend Seal Rock and this properly for 2!

Absolutely Fabulous Stay, loved this private cottage & ocean views!!!
What a fabulous location and private setting! This ocean view cottage was everything we were hoping for: private setting, private parking, ocean views and the sunsets were phenomenal, had wi-fi, kitchen was functional, living room perfect and welcomed the sun/surf/views from up high, fantastic ocean facing wide deck to view the beach, is close to everything in Seal Rock (and Luna, excellent/fresh seafood restaurant close by). Perfect for Romanic Getaway
One bed, one bath, but everything you need to relax, unwind, and get some Vitamin Sea!! Close to Newport and Waldport for shopping and dining, and close to parks for playing and picnics. Stairs front and back, and pulling out onto the highway calls for 100% attention both ways. Try Luna Sea in Seal Rock for breakfast and grab some fudge and hand painted cards next door.

Very nice, cute cottage overlooking the ocean. We were lucky and had great weather and were able to sit out on the deck and watch some awesome sunsets. Good for a couple.

Beautiful beach front property with fabulous deck
Very nice one bed room beach front house. Loved deck, location, bathroom. Bed was soft and couch and loveseat very uncomfortable. Kitchen adequate. Stove overheated but note was left to notify us of that. Good location between Newport, Waldport and Yachats. Would stay here again but looks like price has increased dramatically.

Cozy, comfortable cottage with amazing view
This is such a cozy, comfortable cottage perched high atop a bluff with an unobstructed view of the ocean! All the amenities are provided, the furnishings are lovely and the whole home was very clean. Just a short walk to the park for beach access. It's quite private, and has a nice side yard for pets.

One property manager was excellent; one was not. I was confused as to what the one was asking (my fault) and she seemed to get very impatient with me. I’m too old for that and I didn’t appreciate it.

Gorgeous property and cute little cottage
The views from this cottage on a bluff above the ocean are spectacular. The deck is nice with 2 loungers and 2 Adirondack chairs. There's a nice side yard for playing with dogs or kids. Inside, there's a comfortable living area with large windows and sliders to the deck. There are two couches, a TV and a coffee table. In the dining area, there is a large table that would seat 4-6. The kitchen has just about everything you could need, except a dishwasher, but that was not an issue for us. The bedroom is small but the bed is comfortable and there is a nice view. The bathroom is nice, with a shower (no tub). My only issue was that the ad said there was laundry, but there was not. We got along without it, but that should be removed from the ad. Overall, we liked the place very much!
