Ski Sundown Tours

This property was okay for a quick stay. The hotel is clearly outdated but it’s not the worst I’ve seen. Beds were comfy and running water was hot. Tub did take awhile to drain but once maintenance came, it worked fine. Ceiling in shower needs repairs. Fridge and microwave were clean. Overall it’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s okay. Pool was fine. Breakfast was basic sausage egg and waffles, option of making your own toast. Staff was polite.

I can’t say anything terrible about this hotel, but I can’t say there was anything particularly impressive. Some of the staff was really nice and one that seemed cranky and the rest just seemed indifferent. We checked in on a Thursday. We reserved the king parlor sweet. The room was bright and spacious and the decor was pretty and modern. The bed was very comfortable. My only real issue with the room was that there was not a coffee maker only espresso and that there was no way to really unpack your belongings. We were 2 women with 4 hangers and no chest of drawers. I don’t enjoy living out of my luggage, especially as our stay was 5 nights. We checked out today and the elevator was not working so we had to make a couple of trips down the stairs to bring our bags down. I’m not saying that’s the end of the world. I don’t think they can help that, but the attitude of the woman at the desk was just annoyed instead of apologetic. Actually the only person to apologize about it was July the gentleman who seems to run the cafe. He was always nice and seemed to be the hardest worker. So basically I don’t regret the stay at all, however when I visit Rhode Island again I will try another place.
