Spring Branch Vacations from $606

It was small and simple. The person who checked us in was so sweet and funny. I really liked her. They need more than one cart to bring in luggage and I had to ask for an extra wash cloth and hand towel for out room because there was only one of each for 2 people. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Comfortable bed

The hotel was in horrible condition while undergoing what they consider “renovations”. The carpet in the room was frayed, incomplete paint job and baseboards removed. The bathroom was dirty and food droppings on the floor. There was an odor of mildew and drywall mud inside the room, making it impossible to sleep. We ended up canceling the second night. Stay away from this hotel. Unacceptable and disgusting, I really think we should get a 100% refund. The hotel overall shouldn’t even be open while undergoing renovations.

Reserved a double. Was asked at check in if we really needed a double. We said yes and the clerk gave us a room. We get to the room and the door handle was stripped off and when we pushed open the door the handle and a screw driver were inside the room. Told the front desk clerk, he seemed surprised. Given the room next to it. We wondered if that would be a safe idea given what we had just seen. Was told it’s the last room with a double. Walked in and looked nice but the AC was broken. No more rooms left when we told them about it. Clerk was nice enough to cancel our reservation but they charged me for occupancy tax anyways two days later. BTW they have 20 or so parking spaces for a biking with 7 floors and probably 10 to 15 rooms per floor. Do the math. They tell you to park on the street or in a public lot about a block and a half away.
