The apartment was clean and decent. The living room area was a bit crowded but the bedrooms were pretty spacious. I would suggest that they either install or provide a gate at the top of the steep narrow stairway that leads to the main entrance. We had a two year old who made us nervous all weekend ! The house worked really well for our group and had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond and took care of any issues right away — including missing bedding and a refrigerator problem. Parking could sometimes be a bit tricky to find, but it wasn’t a major issue.The home could use a few updates — a fresh coat of paint and some improved seating in the dining and living areas would make a big difference. It was a quaint little home to come back to and enjoy each others company after our busy days of venturing out and about. The amenities that were included were great, the beds were so comfortable and the location was ideal, close to just about anything you to see. Dan was phenomenal to communicate and work with as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for just a cozy little spot to relax and wind down at after a day/evening outing. ##### Addison T. It’s true that it reeks of marijuana, but I don’t think the owner can control that considering the shared walls with other units. The TV instructions need to be updated as the screens didn’t match the ones in the instructions and took a while to be able to use but never could access the array of channels advertised. There are several basic cooking items but I couldn’t find a baking sheet to put bread on so maybe a couple more necessities added to kitchen would be helpful. I always worry about the bed quality and comfort and let me say these beds in all the rooms are A!! Extremely clean and I gave 5 stars all around cause I stay at a lot of rentals but this one I couldn’t not give even though only 2 things really bothered me about it, it was not enough to discount the fact it’s a great place, updated well, very comfortable furniture, and air works great! Only 2 negatives, WiFi was spotty so we used our hot spot. The other was a marijuana smell as soon as you unlock the door and walk in but it’s not up on the actual floor of the apartment so not sure. It was apparent that the apartment had not been cleaned since the prior tenets left. Although this was resolved once we reached out to the owners, the cleanliness overall was still disappointing. On top of this, the back deck was unstable when standing on it, the WiFi did not work for any of our devices, and kitchen did not have much of any supplies to cook a basic meal. For the price, we were overall disappointed with our experience. Only way to turn on light was by standing on a chair, holes in walls, pot smell was terrible, did not even have a cookie sheet or any pans that could go in oven, front of building looks like it could fall at anytime, one trash bag, no washer dryer, no lamps in rooms as pictured, smoke detector hanging from ceiling and blinds were all broken and you could see right through them. The beds had been slept in, dirty towels were in the bathroom and in the bedroom, and hair was in the sink. After contacting them, they got the cleaning crew out while we were gone thankfully. We then came back to a small amount of toilet paper on the roll for six people and none to replenish it. Lots of inconveniences that I’ve never experienced in a VRBO before. I was trying to be fair, I was no treated fairly. May 29, 2025 #### Accurate and good for us There was severalReasons I chose this property. I am traveling with five kids so hotel was not gonna work for us. There was one Roku tv and the internet sid not support the television the first day. We used a hot spot. There were no lightbulbs in the lamps in the one bedroom. The other issue was no shampoo or conditioner in apartment. My boys did not care.! Grandma would have liked some and did not pack any based on what was listed. This is a bare minimum apartment. As you come in the smell of weedmay be stronger but as you go up the stairs it dissipates. Overall this was super ideal for my group but I could use the advertised amenities. It wasn't clear if it was marijuana or just because it was an older unit, but it hit us immediately upon walking in and never dissipated. Our kids complained the entire time and had a hard time adjusting. We went to Walgreens and bought a bunch of air fresheners. Also contacted host, but host took awhile to respond and then didn't really do anything. He said he would try to have someone come the next day and try to address it, but no one ever came by that we saw (certainly didn't change smell) and the host never followed up. Hardly any utensils to use, and definitely some areas that could've been cleaned better. Had to put the linens on the beds ourselves.
