We will return!
This is a fantastic home with caring and considerate hosts. This is a perfect annual gathering space for 9 adult siblings and some children and grandchildren. The heated garage with a counter and tables/chairs is a bonus that gave us lots of conversation areas and lots of space to spread out. 2025 will be our third year here. Thank you to Jim and Twyla!

Incredible Location for Family time
We had a group of 21 staying at the Ranch house for Thanksgiving. The house was very clean and kitchen was well-stocked. The garage provided a great place for kids to play, storage of winter gear, and even cleaning of pheasants after a few hunts. The basement was full of toys and games and the kids kept very busy down there. The bunk room was a great sleeping spot for them. Jim and Twyla were extremely friendly and accommodating with an early check-in request, as well as some other extras like taking our kids on the tractor to feed the cows. This is a gorgeous setting and very close to Lake Minnewaska and Alexandria. We will definitely be returning!

Golf Trip
We had a wonderful time and got to spend time with Jim and Twyla who gave us the history of the area. The house was great, and we had plenty of room for our group of 20 golfers. Definitely a great place and highly recommend the area for any outings.

July 27-30, 2023 stay
This place is AMAZING as are the owners! Upon arrival, there was a welcome note and loaf of homemade zucchini bread. Twyla also stopped in to welcome me personally. The cleanliness was impressive as were the many personal touches including a s'more basket, large variety of K-cup for the Keurig coffee maker, soaps/shampoo dispenser in the bathrooms - just to name a few. The decor is SO nice! The themed details are so cool. And the layout of the house was perfect for our group of 17 adults and teens. That bunkroom was perfect for the younger folks who liked to sleep in. And that front porch - so great; we watched beautiful sunsets each evening. The garage was like an extension of the home - so clean, with a sink and extra refrigerator. There were a also a variety of bikes, extra outdoor chairs too. The setting is beautiful and just 5 miles from town. Starbuck has a wonderful beach and the Firehouse brewery was a fun outing. I can't say enough about this VRBO; it checked ALL the boxes for our group, and we've already booked for next year.

Peaceful, Pleasant Stay for Families
This beautiful, clean home offers so much opportunity for fun and relaxation. The house has plenty of dishes, towels, and a large dining room table with extra chairs. The covered porch is a lovely place to visit or listen to the birds. Outside the back lawn is perfect for kids to run, and the nearby state park has a lake for fishing and non-motor boats. The beach in town is great for hot days (and the air conditioning in the house is fantastic too)! The hosts are extraordinarily kind and helpful. And you can get a taste of farm life at this exceptional place!

What a great place for a 50th Anniversary
This property worked out perfect for our family, all 21 of us fit comfortably. There were beds/couches for everyone, plenty of room to spread out for activities, lots to do indoors and outside. If you’re considering it, the farm tour is definitely worth it, Brady had so much great information and the kids loved the visit from Cash. The house was very well stocked with everything we could have wanted/needed and so much more. The kids under 10 and the teens/,young adults found plenty to do (foosball, ping pong, games/puzzles, bean bag toss, bikes, balls) and never even missed their screens or tv. This house was impressively clean considering it is a farmhouse on a gravel road. The garage was just as clean and spacious, additional room since the weather wasn’t too cooperative. We would definitely stay here again!

The siblings gather
This place has everything you need. Very clean, very roomy, very well equipped. The hosts, Jim and Twyla, couldn’t be nicer - from the homemade sweet bread to the almost instant delivery of a heating pad, they couldn’t have been more accommodating. A lovely pastoral setting on a working farm. We all loved it!

Starbuck Golf Weekend

Awesome Stay
Great venue, secluded, beautiful sunsets, hosts were there when needed, but out of the way otherwise. Proximity to Glacier Park provided many recreational afternoons. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a place for a family gathering.

Fantastic Stay in Rural MN
Our family of 7 adults and 6 children (ages 8 months to 8 years) found all the comforts of home at Clear Springs Cattle Ranch. The lower level play area and bunk room provided space for kids and allowed quiet conversations upstairs for the adults. Multiple bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The swing-set and sandbox were favorites of the kids!

Perfect for large groups or families.

Perfect for a Large Family
Had a great first impression when driving on to the property -- immediately noticed how well kept it was and the inside of the house was very clean. Plenty of room for our family and we loved the large yard area for the outdoor games. The home was well equipped with everything we needed plus I noticed extras like the toothbrushes, makeup towels, etc. The hosts thought of everything! Also, not long after we arrived the hosts stopped by to welcome us and we visited with them a few times throughout our stay. Our children and grandchildren loved this place and we would not hesitate to go back again. If you're looking for a place with lots of room and lots of great outdoor space, this is the place you want to rent. Also, beautiful views and sunsets!!

Amazing place!
This place was great! It was clean and had everything that you could ever need! Great central location for our families to get together. The house and farm are absolutely beautiful. Close to town and lakes if which our group utilized for fishing. Overall, a perfect stay and everyone was talking about returning next year!

Fun Family Getaway
We were blessed enough to spend our fall break at Clear Springs Ranch. Our extended family (8 adults & 4 kids) had more than enough room to play board games, cook meals, lounge around and visit. The bunk room was a hit for the kids and all of the adults had their own space to stretch. Twyla and family have done a wonderful job decorating, organizing and cleaning such a lovely home. The kids loved playing basketball out on the driveway, football and lacrosse in the backyard, and even ran around in the garage when it was just a bit too chilly outside. We even had a campfire (with smores from our hosts) and could hear the coyotes at night. On our arrival, we had a lovely note from Twyla and some homemade bread. Everyone's favorite was the hayride and tour of this beautiful cattle ranch. Jim and his son Brady were our tour guides; we learned so much about the cattle, the land, and the fresh springs that give the ranch its name. The kids, especially, loved asking questions and learning about the cows. A few of us were lucky enough to join Jim and his sons on a cattle drive as they moved cattle from the glacial ridge to some land closer to home. It was quite the experience - even the kids watched from the back of the truck. Memories were made with our family and you can bet that we'll be back! Heck, we even went home with a little extra beef! :)

Perfect place for a casual family gathering! Spacious and peaceful!
Wow! Out experience here was just what we were hoping for! Peaceful, unplugged, and room to roam! There was a lot of us but the rooms were so spacious, we never felt crowded! The kids LOVED the bunk room and being able to look out the window or walk in the yard, up to the fence to see the cows. Hay ride is worth the extra money! SOO interesting! Learned so much from Jim & Brady! They were both so kind and engaged the young kids as well! Home was clean, easy check in and had everything you. need! Jim and Twyla were so kind, had all the small perfect touches to make the stay perfect! 5 mins from Starbuck beach which the kids loved and it was a super sandy and clean lake/beach. Highly recommend the stay! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway to spend time with family, sit and eat dinner around a big table together, and unplug from the world, but still only be 2 hours from the cities, this is the place to be!

Family vacation
We were very pleased with the property. There was plenty of room for us. The 5 younger ones from age 3 to 8 had a blast with the sand box and the games. There was a beach close so we spent a afternoon there. It is a quiet and peaceful place to visit. The host were very helpful and enjoyable.

Family Reunion
Reserved this home for our large family reunion. Beautiful property allows for walks, biking, lake activities nearby, patio seating for visiting and large yard for outdoor games. Excellent steak! Very clean home and quite spacious with impressive upgrades. Hosts are gracious and kind.

We rented the Jim and Twyla's ranch home for a family vacation getaway.
Our family could not have been happier with our stay at the ranch! The house was so spacious and our kids loved the bunkroom in the basement. Great place for almost any occasion
The owners were very easy to work with. Very quick responses to any questions I had. They were very friendly and helpful to our family while we stayed there. They provided anything you could think of that you may need, even a few we didn’t think of (like Band-Aids) 😁. We would definitely stay here again. There was a lot more to do that we didn’t get around to.

Family weekend away!
After Covid, our whole family wanted a chance to just get away and relax and spend time with each other without distractions. The ranch was perfect! Jim and Twyla were so friendly and warm and the house was so clean and spacious! Our kids loved the bunk room and we noted that they spent the whole weekend happily running and playing and not asking for any TV/phones/tablets! We bought steaks and they were DELISH!!! The landscape was beautiful. Would highly recommend!

A perfect retreat space!
We rented this for our FFA Officer Retreat and it could not have been more perfect! The house was the perfect place for our team to stay! The students loved the bunk room, and advisors appreciated their own rooms. Brady and Travis made us feel at home and shared an enormous amount of knowledge with our students!! We would highly recommend the farm tour as well, it is truly beautiful and informative! Our students cannot stop talking about how much fun they had, and we cannot wait to come back!

Family Weekend Getaway
We had an amazing weekend at the ranch! Our kids loved seeing all of the cattle and wanted to bring Cash the dog home with us. The Wild family is so welcoming and took time to teach us all about the ranch. We even got to help feed the cattle! The sunsets are gorgeous as well!

We will never for get this!
Wow!! This weekend completely exceeded our expectations! Let's start with the property owners Jim and Twyla, they are beyond generous and very gracious hosts. We were lucky enough to visit their ranch during calving season! What a treat! Even in the below zero temps, they took us for a beautiful drive through their property, telling us all about the health of their land, spring water and cattle. Very educational. We got to tour the calving barn to see all the new babies and we were lucky enough to receive a call one evening that a cow had gone into labor and the kids got to watch the delivery live on camera!! This house is fully stocked with every amenity you can think of, impeccably clean and very cozy. The kids loved staying in the bunk room and there was more than enough space for the 12 of us. I could go on, and on- we were so glad we booked a stay here and we would highly recommend! Our memories will last a lifetime! Thank you Jim and Twyla!!!

An experience we will never forget!
I don't even know where to start... Jim & Twyla were beyond accommodating and the property was everything and more. From the unbelievable sunsets, Twyla's homemade zucchini bread, Jim letting the kids help him feed the cattle, watching our kids be kids jumping on haystacks and playing in the bunkroom, Brady stopping by with great information and delicious steaks, bonfires next to a cornfield, touring the property on a hayride, to enjoying the trails within Glacier Lake State park - all of us wanted to stay longer. We can't thank the Wulf family enough. Anyone who is contemplating if they should try this unique experience, should just book it and enjoy the serene, fresh air, and kind souls here!

Fun Family Weekend Getaway!
Such a great property for a weekend getaway for three generations! The hosts were easy to communicate with & very accommodating & gracious. They welcomed us with delicious zucchini bread & fresh cherry tomatoes. The hayride was also educational & fun & we were happy to meet Cash the dog! We enjoyed our hike up the hill to the stones, climbed the hay bales, played outdoor & indoor games & enjoyed a campfire with s'mores ingredients supplied by our hosts. We are so glad we ordered meat - the steaks were as tender as can be! The spring water was also very refreshing! We had plenty of room in the house to spread out in for 8 adults and 12 kids age 1-10. The house was also very clean. The grandkids really enjoyed sleeping in the bunk room! Some of the kids even got a ride in the combine since we visited during harvest! This was a weekend to make some special memories! Thank you Wulfs!

The house was beautiful,clean, and enough room for all! Grills,camp firepit,outside tables, and plenty of room to walk the countryside! Close to the lake (about 4-5 miles) Indoor and outdoor games to play. Large kennel for pets. Very helpful and friendly owners! We would go again!

Great reunion getaway.
Very good few days off! Enjoyed a hayride tour for a couple of hours, which was very informative to the children (and many adults) of life on a ranch. The cows were especially interesting to the young people. The kids found the barn containing the huge hay bales, and that made a great place to get their physical activity for the day. Pleasant evening around a fire. The house provided ample sleeping space for all 22 of us and was very clean. Spacious kitchen worked for putting out our spread of food for all of us. Owners were very gracious, and we made contact with then besides during the hayride tour. Overall, this was a fantastic place for a group like ours to get away for a few days.

The property was very clean and in excellent condition. The location in the rolling hills of central Minnesota was beautiful. Members of our group bicycled to the nearby state park and others drove to enjoy the parks amenities. The town of Starbuck is about a 10 minute drive away. Starbuck offers a nice beach and small shops. The owner's were attentive to every small detail. There was a welcome loaf of banana bread waiting for us upon our arrival. We did the 2 hour ranch tour by hayride. It was very enjoyable, informative and educational. We purchased a steak package. The steaks were outstanding! The weekend was enjoyed by all members of our group.and the hosts went above what was expected to make us feel at home!

Delightful group! Followed house rules and left the house in excellent shape. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting them and welcome them back any time!
