Great for large families
What an amazing stay!! We walked in and were instantly blown away by the comfy-cozy feel of the place. It was clean, inviting, spacious, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect and although there were other houses near, we felt very tucked away and enjoyed having that kind of privacy. April was super easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this place is beautifully and thoughtfully put together--from the amenities to the cute Alaska decor, we felt comfortable. It was the cherry on top of an already incredible trip! Look forward to staying here again next time we visit Alaska!!

Great house close to everything
The house was perfect for 9 adults. Everyone had their own space, just note that all the rooms upstairs don't don't have doors - just in case you have someone who snores. The living space was ample and we really enjoyed the patio area.

Great house for family
Very nice house in a great location. We had 10 in our family ranging from 3 yr old and up. Plenty of room, super clean, great yard. Owner was very responsive, we had one small issue which the owner promptly fixed. House exceeded expectations.

Very Relaxing Home
We really enjoyed our stay in Talkeetna with family and friends. The house was very clean, very well stocked and had everything we needed. We had fun in Talkeetna for a day and hiking in Denali state park for a day. We felt like the house was the perfect relaxing spot to end our trip in Alaska. We felt refreshed for the plane trip home :) Thanks April!

My wife and I took my in-laws, 3 sisters, and 2 partners to Talkeetna. That's 9 people. In one house. It worked perfectly. The house is immaculate and stocked with everything you'll need (coffee filters, salt & pepper, olive olive oil, quality pots & pans, tasteful dinnerware). We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Summer Trip
We only stayed for a couple of nights but the house was perfect and we really enjoyed sitting on the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed, quality pots and pans, coffee, etc. We would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful well appointed home
Perfect beautiful home with lots of bedrooms for a big group. Very nice kitchen dining room for making meals, yet close to Talkeetna for a unique village with dinner options. Nicely thoughtful bathroom amenities and kitchen cleaning supplies. Super comfortable bedding!!!

What a lovely place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The house was clean, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. The hosts thought of everything, from the snacks and coffee (thank you!) to the first aid kit (which we thankfully didn't need), we had everything we could have asked for. The grounds were well kept, and we enjoyed the deck and playing in the yard. It's a short drive into town or to the market. Surprisingly, my daughters really enjoyed the piano as well, and left knowing a couple songs with the help from YouTube. We had a great weekend and wouldn't hesitate to book this property again. Thank you!

Home away from home
This home was incredible for our large group. With beds for all 10 of us and enough space for everyone to spread out, this home was perfect for our needs. We REALLY appreciated all of the extra touches (shampoo, conditioner, baggies, bandaids, extra tp, laundry detergent, snacks, bottled water, coffee and tea, etc.) This location allowed us to explore Denali to Anchorage. Thank you for your quick responses to questions and suggestions. I hope we make it this way again.

Beautiful and Spacious Home
As 5 friends just completing the Denali Hwy road races, we were looking for a place where we could spread out and get some R&R. This home offered that and more. The owners thought of everything and kept in contact with us during our stay. We would highly recommend this home.

Perfect location, well stocked.
This home was perfect for my family, 5 adults. Well stocked with all the extras, snacks for hiking, bug spray- so needed, black out curtains. Nice beds. Kitchen well stocked to cook meals. Just outside Talkeetna, we drove to and from Denali in a day. This is perfect for family- also had books, few games, large table for family to sit at. Beautiful patio, we did not sit on with mosquitos but is available.

Great family home
This place is super clean and well stocked. Great location for Denali and Talkeetna. We had a small toilet issue and the owner, April, responded ASAP and had it fixed before we returned for the day. I would stay there again.

Thought of everything
This place is the gold standard for a rental on the VRBO website! I wouldn’t change a thing and it was truly a gem of a property. Also, the property manager was very prompt and provided excellent customer service. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting to travel to Denali!

Spacious, modern, & comfortable.
All we needed & more including cozy living space, contemporary kitchen, beautifully designed bathrooms, relaxing outdoor space to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable & the house was super clean. The owners thought of everything down to the smallest detail. I would have loved to stay longer.

Great visit to Talkeetna!
We had a great stopover in Talkeetna while on our first-time Alaska journey! We arrived very late - check in was no problem. The property was easy to find and enter. Our host left thoughtful touches throughout. The beds and living areas were very comfortable! Great base camp to hike and explore from!!

Such a great place to stay! We enjoyed all the amenities inside and especially chilling out on the porch after a long day of exploring. Would definitely stay here again. Nice little touches like having laundry soap available and Netflix. Beds were really comfy too. It was a bit warm one of the nights and hard to open the windows when so sunny all night but there was probably a fan somewhere and we just overlooked it. Thank for the stay!

Talkeetna Gem!
April is a fantastic host, who thinks of everything and has an exceptionally lovely home! We enjoyed the close proximity to the brew pub on the spur road and easy access to the grocery store and main highway nearby. Our weekend (my 2nd time staying at this VRBO) also included a drive up to Healy and the Denali Park Visitor Center and area, time poking through Talkeetna's shops, a McHay's river boat trip, and a stop at the Birch Syrup shop for ice cream and a tour. Everything was perfect! We are looking forward to hosting other out of state friends and family as this VRBO is a gem and great home away from home... - Anchorage Residents

Incredible Alaska experience
Such a beautiful, fully featured home. Warm, inviting, comfortable, spotless, and every need thought of. All the reviews say it is fully stocked with every detail and I agree. From the special kids games and plates, to the kitchen amenities and home considerations. It was also incredibly clean, we felt so safe and comfortable staying here. Great place!
Wonderful! Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels,blankets, comfortable beds. Total of 6 adults- plenty of room to spread out. Beautiful outdoor space although the rain kept us from fully enjoying it. Enjoyed the area immensely. Lots of excursions to choose from and a great little town with a lot of character. Would definitely stay here again if opportunity presented and highly recommend to others

Family get together
Initially this was to a family gathering for a wedding, a week before the wedding date we suffered a family member motorcycle accident. My husband & I wouldn’t be able to go to Alaska. The owner, April Moore, was so very accommodating and extended the lease to our adult children without reserve. Our kids agreed the house deserves a 5 star rating and she would buy the house if she could. The only negative was that a fireplace or fire pit would have been nice in this visits cooler and damp weather.

Amazing
Everything was perfect. Cute, well cleaned house that is in a perfect location. Loved our stay! The backyard/covered deck was our favorite to sit and relax after long hiking days. We also enjoyed eating our meals there. No complaints about anything :)
