Holiday Haven
Trinidad is a gorgeous and very friendly little coastal town. The best of both worlds with beaches to explore and redwood forests just up the coast. The property was incredible, so well suited for our thanksgiving stay. Communication with management was quick and easy and we really appreciated how accommodating they were. If you can do it, it’s worth it and so memorable!

Beautiful view, well maintained and appointed
All the other reviews are not exaggerating. This house was comfortable, well appointed and owners friendly and responsive. Super appreciated the fully stocked spice cabinet, which you never see in places like this. So nice!

Pictures Don’t Do it Justice!
This home is exceptional and deserves every 5 star review it has. The home is expertly decorated and appointed. Our family of 5 plus a few of our daughters’ friends enjoyed our stay here more than we can express! The beds are exquisite and plenty of supplies are provided. The kitchen had everything needed to make meals in the gorgeous kitchen with the best view of Trinidad Harbor! Sitting in the hot tub looking out at the beautiful ocean view was my favorite part. We loved being in walking distance to Murphy’s for groceries and the souvenir shops for the kids. The beach is so close! We parked our cars and walked everywhere for our whole stay! We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house in perfect location!
My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) stayed here for Spring Break. The house was well stocked and each bedroom could have it's own bathroom...which is great for teen or 3 different couples. The view from the living room was breathtaking. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The location is PERFECT. Walking distance to several restaurants and a nice market. I recommend checking out the restaurants hours so you can plan meals. I really hope to stay at the Harbor Moon another time soon.

An absolute hidden gem
First of all, this sleepy fishing village was the best kept secret of our entire stay. We were only a block or two away from at least 5 restaurants, a winery tasting room, an amazing hike up Trinidad Head, a grocery store, a gas station, and a post office. What else could you need?! The views were spectacular, the hot tub was to die for, and the house itself was extremely clean and well appointed. I was blown away by this rental and would recommend it ten fold over any other unit or location in the area at large. Very very happy! If you are on the fence you should go with your gut and book Harbor Moon like yesterday. You will be sorry to miss out!

As advertised
Most VRBOs we have stayed at are a little worn around the edges (or worse), but this House was pristine! Well appointed, well stocked, everything worked, and the instructions for electronics were clear and accurate (a rarity). The house was also amazing, with it high ceilings and tasteful decor. Incredibly relaxing mornings and evenings on the front porch overlooking the harbor, and everything in town was an easy walk from the house.

Beautiful Home in a great location
We loved our stay in Trinidad. The home was so well equipped and made for an absolutely lovely stay. The views were incredible and the location so convenient to shops, restaurants, the beach, lighthouse, etc. The history of the ship artifacts throughout the house were fascinating and the outside shower was so great for sandy feet (or entire kids!!!)

AMAZING HOME! AMAZING VIEWS!
The pictures and descriptions are spot on. BUT….it’s even more incredible in person. We stayed 2 nights to break up our road trip from Oregon to San Francisco. Wish we had more time there. Close to Redwoods and walking distance to local restaurants. Kitchen is well stocked and beds are super comfortable. Hot tub was a bonus for 2 12 year girls. Property manager was very quick to respond but we didn’t have many questions as the house had it all and the details are in the welcome book. I highly recommend this property

Great Location for Exploring the Redwoods Parks and the Coast
We had a wonderful time staying at this house for a week. The house is very well maintained and has everything that you need for a comfortable visit. We enjoyed our evening dips in the hot tub. The town of Trinidad is very walkable. We did our grocery shopping at Murphy's Market and Katy's Smokehouse (which also has fresh fish for sale). We enjoyed tide pooling on the local beach and hiking on Trinidad Head. There are many parks and beaches within easy driving distance. If you want to kayak, Kayak Trinidad at Big Lagoon was very professional.

A Trinidad vacation
We had a wonderful time at this lovely home. It was a great experience. The place was clean...well decorated....better and larger than we expected. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and coffee and a vase of flowers...a wonderful touch. It was a great location and so nice to be opposite the ocean. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back myself.

Beautiful home with ocean view
We loved the home. It had high-end finishes and cute nautical decor. Great views and close to town and the beach. Spent four nights at the tail end of a visit to southern Oregon and had wonderful days in the nearby parks. Would certainly come back to this paradise!

gem in Trinidad
Beautiful house. Well decorated. Sparkling clean with a fully equipped kitchen and grill. Had plans to eat out but cooked all our meals in. Kitchen was beautiful and spacious. Couldn’t ask for more. Oh and did I mention location. It was everything!! Close to himing trails, beach and watering holes. Loved it.

Beautiful home. One issue.
If you are the property owner and reading this I suggest you admonish the cleaning crew to empty the dryer's lint filter after every use. It was beyond overflowing when I checked it after an initial batch of laundry -- a definite fire hazard. Lynda offered no reply to this. Other than that, the well-stocked kitchen, A/V setup, comfortable beds, and spa were all lovely, and I still rate the property 5-star.

The property is even more beautiful than the pictures show. Stunning views of Trinidad Harbor. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Vaulted ceilings. Beautiful decor. Well appointed. Harbor Moon was amazing
We had the pleasure to stay in this amazing place for a week. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful view right on the ocean and a short walk to Trinidad Head and the pier. I look forward to staying here again on our next visit back to Humboldt County.

Serenity above the Bay
Our stay at Harbor Moon was very enjoyable as we took in the quiet serenity of the ocean views below and the soaring birds floating above the water. The house was luxurious with high end finishes, spacious rooms throughout, well stocked kitchen, and very comfortable bedrooms. The location was ideal for viewing the ocean, strolls through Trinidad, trips into the Redwood forests, and hiking throughout the area. We felt very relaxed and comfortable in this wonderful home, immediately upon our arrival. It had been well prepped for our arrival and the instructions provided for access/use of the home were spot on. We certainly plan on returning in the future.

Back again
We love this house so much four years ago that we came back again from the Los Angeles area. It is the nicest house to rent By far In the area. The scenery is amazing and the hiking is fantastic too.

This home and location is amazing. Our little kids are already asking when we get to go back. Which we will be back. Home was amazing and more than perfect for what we were after. Wonderful Escape to the Coast
This home is absolutely gorgeous and located in the most charming town! On the inside it is well-appointed, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. On the outside, the view can't be beat. From the comfy living room couches, you have a perfect view of the ocean. This was an ideal home-base for excursions to the redwoods and exploring the beach. You can walk to the beach, and a few restaurants and shops. I would love to return here.

Spectacular rental
I and 4 other seniors stayed at this property in Trinidad for a week. The property is stunning. High quality accommodations in a spectacular location. The interior space was spotless when we arrived. All the amenities you would expect from a property of this caliber. Trinidad is a really nice little town with excellent restaurants, an art gallery and curio shops all within walking distance. The crab boats move in and out of the small harbor (fully visible from the front windows) morning and night. Just a really great place to stay and serve as the center for side trips to the beautiful redwoods that surround. Can't think of a single negative or "could have been done better". We'll be back!
