Air conditioner had small buttons with tiny labels. Tried to turn it on for quite a while with no success. Fortunately, it was only a little warm in the room. At 5am it suddenly came on, waking me up. Also, the remote desk clerk was busy when I wanted to check out and I had to leave a voicemail to check out. Weird.

Rooms are very very small. Shower wasn’t that clean and we didn’t have shower gel, we had to ask twice. Mariana at reception was THE BEST. Very friendly staff.

Brilliant hotel but location was terrible lots of homeless and dodgy characters and long walk from anything would definitely recommend booking something in a safer area closer to Santa Monica or Hollywood. Stay away from this hotels location unless you want to get mugged or have your car broken into.
