Comfortable Stay

Cozy retreat
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood. It is in a great location—close to shopping and hiking opportunities. It is only a 7 minute walk to the beautiful Desert Meadows Park. We especially enjoyed the private, lovely landscaped backyard watching the hummingbirds and other species. I would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderfully Relaxing
A warm, inviting house with personal touches (original art on the walls, an abundance of kitchen, bath, and bed accoutrements) making this experience feel like staying in a friend's house. The private back yard is a gem.

Beautiful November!
Everything was as stated in property listing!! Very easy relaxing stay. The weather was outstanding! Near record fall temps. We took day trips to visit and hike areas near by. Love how close these recreation areas are to Green Valley. Mt. Lemmon was spectacular! Enjoyed local 2 Girls Pizza and also Coyote Grill. Also the town of Sahuarita has a fun walking path around a man made lake. We got to enjoy a bonus Indian Summer this year! Would definitely love to visit again!!

Great place to stay in Green Valley
We stayed 12 nights in this comfortable 2 bdrm home. Nicely decorated and well-equipped with essentials. Described as having a smart tv, but I wasn't able to access any streaming features. Does have basic Cox cable. Carport was just fine since most garages in the area are not long enough for a 20 ft. F150 truck. We would definitely consider staying here again if we come back to this area.

Finding a place
Overall very nice place. We did have a few issues. Reached out and the manager responded quickly, however she was not able to resolve all of the issues. The main problem with the electric for the screened in patio. No lights or ceiling fan. With the dramatic temperatures unable to enjoy Arizona evening. Other than that , very nice place

Home away from home
Such a lovely house with the look of a real home and so well stocked with towels, kitchen items and dvds. The outdoor area is peaceful and private. Owners were truly accommodating in every way. Thank you for the beautiful stay.

Lovely Stay
We really enjoyed the comfort of this home. It had everything that we needed, and was decorated so nice. We spent most of our time enjoying the backyard oasis & sun room with all the birds. We will definitely like to stay there again on our next trip!

Absolutely wonderful home and host!
This home is wonderful!! I booked it because of the great pictures and reviews and the home actually exceeded all my expectations. Heather is an amazing host and went out of her way to be available and even accommodate me when I decided to stay longer. The home is so clean, well furnished, well stocked kitchen and baths with wonderful furniture and bedding, towels etc. The backyard is a another whole retreat with lots of seating areas. Definitely one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve ever had.

Green Valley house
We had a great stay. The house was immaculate, in a very quiet neighborhood, close to everything we needed. Every possible thing you need is there...cooking utensils, dishes, pots, etc. Excellent washer/dryer, lovely screened patio, beautifully maintained yard, tasteful artwork throughout. We were about 25 minutes from Madera Canyon, a great birding/hiking area. Sprout's Market is about 8 minutes north if you want a good selection of organic foods. Manuels Mexican restaurant about 10 minutes north is the BEST! There are at least 300+ DVDs and many, many books in the house as well. We had trouble setting up the DVD player, but Heather said she was going to leave instructions for that in the future. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely home
This property is spotless and equipped with everything you will need. The garden is fantastic with various sun traps so you can move throughout the day; shade or sun as you desire. Walking opportunity is great. Artwork in the home is beautiful and the furniture is really comfortable. WiFi connection was very good as well. We were a party of 3 adults & I would say we were all very comfortable.

Beautiful rental
Enjoyed our stay and neighborhood is very quiet. Loved the decor and home was very comfortable and owner very accommodating. One suggestion would be to put more lighting under the cabinets for us "Seniors" that can't see to well! But we managed okay.

Home away from home
Wonderful home in with private backyard and mountain views. Comfortable and nicely decorated living and kitchen areas. Easy to travel from this home and explore Green Valley and surrounding area. Owner was quick, thorough and enthusiastic during every communication. Great VRBO experience. Would like to stay here again when in Green Valley.

The property was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and had anything you could need. We enjoyed the screened porch and outdoor patios which had beautiful landscaping and private. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walks, close to everything. Look forward to another stay.

Wonderful Desert Meadows Home
You will feel right at home in this charming, well-appointed house near Desert Meadow Park in Green Valley. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable, with the best collection of books, movies and music I've ever seen in a rental home. The manager (Heather) is friendly and very easy to contact. Great location, wonderful kitchen, lovely back yard and quiet neighborhood. What more could you want?

My second time here, it’s that wonderful! The home is larger than it looks from the outside. Very comfortable, relaxing decor. The mountain view from screen porch and back yard combined with the landscaping in the backyard make it a desert oasis!

Casa de Algodon is great!
Lovely little house in quiet neighborhood. Very well appointed, Heather couldn’t have been nicer. Highly recommend! Be aware, the pool is GVR, not free. Heather has this listed in her description, but VRBO did not show this information on mobile app, which I used for booking. This is the fault of VRBO, as the owner clearly states this in the listing, if viewed on a desktop. VRBO, do better!

Backyard Oasis
The home’s interior is nicely appointed and conducive to relaxation. It would be very comfortable for 4 people. I loved reading in the comfy screen porch. The backyard seems to be a bird oasis. On my next visit, I will check to see if this location is open before I consider staying anywhere else in Green Valley.

Perfect home, view and owner!
I stayed with my aunt, and it was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Heather waited up for us even though our flight was over 5 hours late! And she had freshly baked cookies and wine waiting for us - so wonderful after a 20-hour trip! Sitting in the backyard in the mornings watching the sunrise and birds was delightful. The kitchen was great - it had everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves. We could not have been happier, and would recommend this property and Heather, the owner, to everyone!

Casa de Algodon is a Green Valley Gem!
My husband and I visited Green Valley to decide if this would be a nice place to retire. We really enjoyed the area and loved our stay at Casa de Algodon. The house is cozy and beautifully appointed. It comes equipped with anything and everything anyone would need. Heather warmly welcomed us and even had wine and snacks for us. What a wonderful surprise. She was so helpful in setting up the TV with my Netflix and giving us dining suggestions for the area. We were very comfortable during our stay and will definitely rent this home again if we come back for a temporary visit before our final move. Thank you Heather for making our visit to your home so perfect!
