Clean, Convenient, and Private
We really love this little casita which is centrally located to everything. The layout is a little different, but it is very well maintained! This was our first visit to Tucson and spent a lot of time exploring. We enjoyed spending the mornings and evenings in the cozy backyard. The only thing we could recommend is new beds/mattresses - they weren’t as comfortable as we would’ve liked. We do plan on returning in the future and we will be looking to book this casita.

First VRBO booking
The exterior is as cute as shown in photos, although the bicycles are not in working condition. We took frequent walks in the neighborhood and felt completely safe. There are several grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops a short distance from the casita, so this location worked well for us. Unfortunately, the housekeeping gets a failing grade. A pair of socks from a previous guest were left on the floor near the edge of the bed, as well as dust bunnies under the bed, there was an unpleasant odor (presumably mold) in the bathroom closet and I discovered after starting to wash the sheets, that there was dried blood on the mattress pad, also from a previous guest. This lack of detailed cleaning was a dealbreaker for us.

Clean, basic, a bit quirky layout, beautiful landscaping, and functional. The cleanness was superb and the local vibe was captured in the furnishings. Our family felt safe, even though there were a lot of people loitering just outside the neighborhood (towards the city area). The house felt safe, warm, and the energy-efficient shower was comfortable (even if a bit touchy). We enjoyed our 3-night stay.

Cute and Super Roomy Casita
This casita was surprisingly spacious with lots to offer. Besides a queen bed with TV and kitchenette and bathroom on one side, there’s a whole other half with living room and dining area. Everything is comfortable and clean and they provide everything you might need during your stay. The area is quiet and the area felt safe to us.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this casita! It had everything we needed, and then some. It was very clean, with a cute backyard patio! Great place for a family to stay when visiting U of A kids!

Great mid-town location
This was an ideal location for our stay in Tucson. We enjoyed the nearby Tucson Botanical Gardens and our trip up to Summerhaven. Neighborhood was great with many older but well-maintained and interesting properties. Our dog enjoyed the small, but interesting yard. The only issues was the lockbox code was never sent to us and we did not start the laundry as there were guests in the main house, probably still sleeping when we left.

CHARMING CASITA‼️
It was even more charming than the listing claimed. We enjoyed morning coffee in the cozy patio/garden (lemons, lizards, cacti, hummingbirds included). The Southwest decor was perfect (including a DeGrazia print). Our granddaughter (a student at U of AZ loved to hang out with us there (something she doesn’t do at home). Highly recommend this “charming casita”!

Cute, Clean, Quaint & Quiet
This casita is a little bit of paradise in the middle of greater Tucson. It is every bit as appealing in person as it is presented on the website. The owners/managers responded promptly to all of my inquiries and made it very easy to check in and check out. I couldn't wait to return to the serenity of the casita at the end of each day. It is very quiet and supremely comfy.

Great quaint space!
Overall, we had a great stay at the property. We came during the hottest time of the month but inside the location was incredibly comfortable. The place was well stocked and had far more than we needed for our trip, but great to know how prepared they are for guests! They’re incredibly responsive to any needs/questions, always a plus. If we’re ever in need of staying in Tuscon, I would not hesitate to stay at one of their properties!

A Cute Comfy Home Away From Home

Tuscan Casita
Taylor & Yuko have a lovely Casita! I like to have a dark room when I sleep and the dark out curtains on top of having blinds was a huge plus! The location has plenty of food and coffee cafes close by and that was great. I will be back and I look forward to staying there again. Taylor & Yuko we’re lovely hosts and they communicated promptly if we had any questions. It was a pleasure…we look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful Little Casita
The location of this property is perfect for taking advantage of all that Tucson has to offer. The room arrangement is interesting but, we managed well. Linens were excellent quality. It was nice to have a laundry facility available.

Cozy Casita
The moment we arrived the host was there to greet us & hand us the key. The Casita had the amenities we were looking for; a place to cook, cozy couch to watch tv, a dining table to enjoy our meals, a small table to have coffee & breakfast, outside table to relax & be outside in a cooler Southern Arizona December morning & early evening, a nice neighborhood to take a stroll, close to places we planned to see, & a comfy bed! Overall, I would recommend this Casita to any couple wanting a few days to unwind & take in the Tucson activities.

A necessary absence
I am local and stayed at the casita while new flooring was being installed in my house. I had to pack up the house by myself and was hoping to relax but my cat was sick and had to see the vet almost everyday. I didn’t get a chance to rest or enjoy myself too much :(. . The casita had everything we needed. The landscaping is beautiful. It’s close to everything you need. I would suggest bringing a flashlight if you arrive late. Tucson is great for star gazing but some areas of town are very dark as to not cause light pollution and thus interfere with the huge telescopes on Kitt Peak. We enjoyed staying at this casita. It's close to Saguaro National Park and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. My only complaint is that the laundry room is located in a back room of the main house, which you have to share with the guests in the main house. The laundry room is not connected to the casita, which would have been fine with us if we didn't have to share it. This was not mentioned anywhere before booking the property. We were unable to do laundry because the guests in the main house were using the washer and dryer every time we tried. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Perfect location and well thought out space/amenities
This little casita was the perfect home away from home and provided me and my puppy sanctuary as I went thru the process of dropping off and situating my new little wildcat at UofA. The space was very clean and everything I needed was right there. The location is so close and convenient to UOfA. We really enjoyed our time in the enclosed beautiful yard watching the clouds and monsoon storms roll thru.

Overall a beautiful location. We were just unaware of the definition “casita” meaning basically little house behind main house. We thought we had the entire property to ourselves. Not a big deal mistake on our end. We just ended up leaving next day and getting a different rental! So if you’re expecting an entire property to yourself this is not the home for you. Very clean and friendly host overall though!

Perfect for our needs
This was perfect for us - we needed somewhere simple & comfy. As two friends traveling together it was great to have two separate spaces - ample room for both of us! The fold out bed was OK and it was good to have a sink in the other space. The kitchenette was well equipped & perfect for us. Thank you - we enjoyed our stay!
