"Myself and a friend were in town for a race down the road at the equestrian center. The hotel parking lot was clean and there were many options for parking. The inside was clean, staff friendly to check in. Room was clean, bathroom stocked. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was GREAT! I was pleasantly surprised. We ended up needing a late check out and the staff were able to accommodate without issue. I will plan to stay again in the future for races in the area."

While we were disappointed we weren't able to fully enjoy Lake Lure (due to the recovery from Helene), we were happy to come visit the area and support the local businesses while they work to rebuild. "We love to stay here when visiting Black Mountain. The only thing I could say that might need improvement is the caulk in our shower. It needs replacing as it looked moldy."

"It was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request."
