Precioso lugar para pasar unos días de descanso y conocer toda la zona norte de Italia
La verdad fuimos por trabajo y lo mezclamos con el placer. Los dueños Alessandro y Angela son encantadores, personas de mucha categoría que nos atendieron fenomenal. La casa estaba impecable, muy cómoda, con todos los servicios. La vista increíble. Nosotros porque estuvimos en Marzo que sino aprovechar esos porches y la piscina tienes que ser una experiencia fantástica. Muy recomendable.

Excellent location away from the bustle of Bologna. Only 20 mins from the airport by car. Definitely recommend a car to see the surrounding area, but use the train to go to Bologna/Imola

Gorgeous Peaceful Property in the Bologna Countryside
This was our first trip to Italy and to Bologna. We thoroughly enjoyed this gorgeous, peaceful setting in the Bologna countryside. The view from our living area window was SPECTACULAR!!!! Alessandro, Angela and Gregorio made us feel very welcome and comfortable on the property and helped us with anything we needed. Alessandro arranged for a wonderful pasta making/ cooking class with Monica and Barbara from tryandtaste.it for us that was EXCEPTIONAL- (afterwards we sat down and shared the meal we created together.) Every night, my husband and I were able to take a lovely peaceful walk around the property and on the main road to photograph the sunset. We were in the countryside of Bologna without a car, and it can be challenging to arrange a taxi, but do not hesitate to ask Alessandro or Gregorio for assistance- they were wonderful. (Once we were in the city of Bologna, there were taxis at your disposal everywhere!) We would not hesitate to stay here again-truly a relaxing few days!

Great property and location
We loved our stay in Crespellano. Alessandro and his whole family were responsive, helpful and had excellent suggestions for things to do. Would definitely stay again.

Italian Countryside
Lovely property. Alessandro was a great host and even arranged dinner reservations for us on our first evening. Quiet, beautiful views, and centrally located in the food valley of Italy. Unseasonably warm during our visit, so plan accordingly if visiting in warmer months. Would stay again!!

Relaxing holiday
Beautiful location. Peaceful with fabulous views. Allesandro was a really helpful host who kindly booked a parmesan factory tour and had useful advice for other day visits. The pool was very welcome as the days were so hot!

A sight for sore eyes
Wir können uns den positiven Rückmeldungen nur anschließen. Das ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum Leben und zum zeitweisen Verweilen. Das hübsche Haus ist ruhig gelegen, aber ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Region. Das Haus und das großzügige Grundstück sind eingebettet in eine faszinierende Landschaft, die in Wirklichkeit noch schöner ist als die Bilder es zeigen. Die gastgebende Familie ist sehr freundlich und geht auf die Bedürfnisse ihrer Gäste ein. Wir blicken mit schönen Erinnerungen zurück. Dankeschön!

19 nights at Borgo Degli Ulivi in the Beautiful Bolognese Hills!
Our hosts Alessandro & Angela and sons Gregorio & Francesco were excellent. Always available if needed and very helpful. Everything they recommended and or booked for us (restaurants included) were our favourites...including Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena with Franca, Wine & Food tasting at Casino di Pragatto, Parmigiana-Reggiano cheese production and tasting! The property was beautiful with stunning views from our apartment and pool. The location was perfect! Within a two hour drive of many beautiful cities like Venezia, Firenze, Parma, Ravenna, Ferrara, Faenza (Imola) and much closer Bologna, Modena. The Emilia-Romagna region of Italy is filled with the most delicious food and wine and Borgo Degli Ulivi is right in the heart of it. It was very hot but we loved it and hope to return. Carla & Jeff

What a wonderful place!
We had just a magnificent time at Borgo degli ulivi. Alessandro, Angela and their family are most welcoming, kind and helpful; offering great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The villa is so beautiful and the swimming pool heavenly. I highly recommend people to stay at this beautiful property with the view of rolling hills.

Fantastisches Anwesen, tolle Wohnung
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub bei Alessandro. Die große Ferienwohnung ist toll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen großen Tisch im Hauptraum für die Mahlzeiten und einen unvergesslichen Blick in die Berge von Bologna. Die Küche ist ausreichend, die Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind gut ausgestattet. Ebenso gibt es in jeder Ecke liebevolle Details. Vor dem Eingang zur Wohnung befindet sich ein überdachten Sitz mit Sofas, ebenso ein Tisch mit Stühlen für den Aufenthalt im Freien. Der Pool ist prima, leider mit Öffnungszeiten. Dies war in der Anzeige von Fewo nicht angegeben, aber auf der Homepage von Alessandro. Das war das einzige Manko. Ich würdem jedem diesen fantastischen Ort empfehlen!

What a beautiful peaceful location!
Even though this is 15 to 20 minutes from Central Bologna, there is no reason to leave this idyllic setting. There are a dozen world-class restaurants within 10 to 25 minutes of this location in Crespellano. The host and his family were a joy.

Fantastic Location, Lovely Host
Chateau Crespellano is a great base for a holiday in Emilia Romagnia, cities like Bologna, Ferrara, Modena, Florence, Ravenna are within short distance. The villa is located on top of a charming typically Italian hill with a beautful view over the countryside. The appartment was nicely furnished and clean. The pool area simply fantastic to swim, relax and enjoy the picturesque view. The apartments are family owned and looked after by Alessandro, a perfect host. We recommend the location to anyone and we will certainly be back.

Perfect host and location
The appartment was big enough for 2 families with 4 adults and 3 children/teenager. The children´s sleeping room did not have a door unfortunately, but is more or less open space. The rest of the appartment is well equipped and it is located in stunning surroundings. While close to the village of Crespellano and Bologna, it is in a quite place, just prefect to relax and do sightseeing. The pool with its view is outstanding. The hosts Alessandro and Angela are wonderful. They live next to the appartments to rent and are always there, if needed (tips for restaurants and sights). They even arranged the transport for something we forgot to take back home. We had a wonderful time and can only recommend this place!

Dejlig lejlighed nær Bologna
Dejlig udsigtslejlighed. Tæt på Bologna og god mulighed for at se de fine byer som Verona, Venedig, osv. Fin lejlighed på 1. Sal. Lille køkken. Dejlig pool som lå bag værtsparrets bolig (nabobolig til hus med udsigtslejlighed). På trods af at poolen ikke måtte benyttes 12:30-14:30 og efter 18:30 fik vi lov alligevel og den var alle tiders - stor og lækker. Tak for fint ophold med smuk udsigt.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this breathtaking place. The apartment is spacious, very tastefully decorated and has an amazing view to a gorgeous landscape. The owners, Alessandro and his family, are lovely hosts: friendly, helpful and at all times just absolutely pleasant and loving people. I can only recommend this place highly

Fabulous even in winter
We had a great time over New Years- the appartment was warm and cosy with beautiful views. Alessandro is a very nice and most helpful host with lots of good restaurant recommendations.

Spitzen Ferienwohnung
Der Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung war sehr schön. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Das Grundstück und der Pool sind optimal zum entspannen. Die sehr netten Besitzer waren immer da wenn man etwas brauchte. Am letzten Abend waren wir bei ihnen zum Aperitiv eingeladen. Wir werden sicher mal wieder kommen.

Fantastic country holiday
We recently had a fabulous week in the Landscape apartment, hosted by Alessandro and Angela. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen and an amazing living/dining area looking out over the hills and the castle. We spent most of our time in this room, after cooking in the fully equipped kitchen as the views were spectacular. Of an evening we opened the windows up and got a lovely cool breeze through the apartment. The dining table will easily fit 12 people. The gardens were great and we enjoyed fresh figs from the fig tree. We ate lunch at our outdoor dining table in the gardens and enjoyed morning and afternoon swims in the amazing infinity pool on the other side of the house. It was the little touches we thought were great such as pool towels being supplied and being able to use the laundry to wash clothes. The apartment is a short walk into Crespanello, about a km down a hill however I’d recommend having a car so you can do the easy drive into Bologna or Modena. Alessandro and Angela were great hosts, recommending places to eat both around the area and in our next destination and we had a great day at FICO Eataly World on Alessandro’s recommendations.

Fijn appartement, groot genoeg, alles aanwezig, voorzieningen dichtbij, verhuurder is zeer behulpzaam, helaas geen prive zwembad, tijdsbeperking zwembad is soms lastig

As clearly reported on our site on Homeaway, swimming pool is available for our three apts and there are rules to respect (timetable, do not eat, shower,ecc) in order to offer pool as pleasant as possible to all our customers.

Alessandro en zijn echtgenote zijn zeer behulpzaam om je verblijf ter plaatse en in de omgeving zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Spijtig dat de uren van het zwembad gelimiteerd zijn.

Een sublieme plek in de heuvels dicht bij Bologna en in 5 minuten met de auto op de A1.
Het appartement is heel ruim en biedt met drie slaapkamers met badkamers privacy. De kamers zijn smaakvol ingericht, de keuken biedt alles wat je nodig hebt. Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer over de heuvels blijft boeien. In de prachtige tuin bloeiden de linde en de jasmijn waarvan de geur door de open ramen binnen kwam. Het zwembad is zo groot dat je er ook echt in kunt zwemmen en laat daarna al de opgelopen stress van heel het jaar maar van je afglijden als je op de ligbedden over de velden kijkt. Interessante steden zoals Bologna, Modena, Ferrara, Ravenna zijn in een uur met de auto te bereiken. Wij bezochten ook nog Florence. De eigenaar reageert direct op alle vragen in mails of ter plekke. Kortom, wij hebben dit als een unieke locatie ervaren waar we graag vaker willen verblijven.

Fantastic place to stay, relax and explore from
We had a great couple of weeks here. Both Alessandro and Angela are so friendly and really helpful. The appartment has a very open and light athmosphere. It is very well equipped and has big ventilators to keep you relatively cool, something we could really use with 40 degrees outside. But of course there is also the beautiful pool with view of the surrounding hills. So nice to take a refreshing dip in the pool before visiting Florence, Verona or Venice. Thanks for a lovely stay and hope to meet once again!

Beautiful Spot in the middle of everything
If you want to spend some time 'off the beaten track' in Italy this awesome house ist the right choice. It is large and comfortable with a stunning view as to be seen on the pictures. The enormous Pool invites for a cool down. The landscape is breathtaking and so is the garden. It is very near to the airport BLQ but there is no noise. We spend 6 nice days here. We visited Rimini, Bologna and Florence. They can be reached in a less than 2 hours. Angela and Alessandro are great hosts. Very relaxed and sympathic. I apreciate Alessandro waiting till late night for our arrival with one of the last incoming flights.

Seis días cerca del paraíso........
Hemos tenido la suerte de disfrutar de un lugar extraordinario y acceder a un descanso reparador después de nuestras actividades de trabajo diarias. Sol, piscina, buenos asados en el barbecue y las charlas con Alessandro y Ángela siempre dispuestos a explicarnos detalles sobre la región, el lugar y sus familias todas con origen en la Emilia Romagna. Además, hemos podido realizar un evento con la gente de nuestro proveedor italiano y han podido degustar unos ricos "choripanes" con "chimichurri"; sin duda seis días cerca del paraíso.........
