Buen hotel para el precio
Mi unica "queja" seria que la primer noche era evidente que las sabanas y/o las cubiertas de algunas de las almohadas no habian sido cmabiadas ya que olian a humanidad. Hice la peticion del cambio y despues de eso todo fluyo excelente por 5 noches mas, lo recomiendo si tiene que estar cerca de dicha zona.

The hotel and property were gorgeous in a nice and safe part of town. Easy access to several locations of interest. The staff was amazing. They offer a full on breakfast in the morning. It's definitely someplace I would come back to.

My car was severely damaged because the parking garage that is connected to the property is not in compliance. There was no indicator beam to see where to turn (since it’s a two way ramp) and ripped my entire side of my car from front to back. And of course, i have to pay for it since i signed for my car to be damaged because of hotel negligence. Yay.

The location was great Just that when i checked in I was not very impressed with the guy who checked me in The next day morning he was there and didnt know about the area It was disappointing But the rest of the staff were great The bar man was the best feature of the hotel he was friendly and welcoming He should probably train the guy who checked me in

The Residence Inn was a convenient location to Old Town Alexandria and a short walk to the metro to head into DC. The rooms are well appointed but need ventilation. Even with the air conditioner the air seemed stale. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Overall we did enjoy our stay here. The breakfast was nice but we wished it was offered a little later. The area was very quiet, near restaurants and a metro station. The hotel also has a free shuttle that'll take you within a two mile radius. The only complaint we had was that they did not give us free water bottles and we had to go to CVS to buy a pack to last us the weekend.

The property was okay. I had a challenging time finding parking. I enjoyed that it was close to the major highway so it was easy to travel back and forth to Maryland.

In need of general refreshing. Lighting in the "living" area needs to be improved. Could also use a guest directory of services. Staff was polite and friendly.

When I checked in the room was a mess. I was then upgraded to a larger room. I was pleased at the level of customer service the young man demonstrated. That night I called and complained about the water not being hot. It was luke warm. Nothing was done. I called the next day to complain as well. I was on the phone with Sherry who was beyond rude and unpleasant. I ended the call because of the level of disrespect. She did send an engineer up to the room to test the water and he informed me that it was hot. I wanted hot water and he was just focused on my hair. He left and I went down stairs to write my Google review. Now the location and area is nice. The room is outdated and had many cracks in the wall. I was not pleased with my overall stay.

Home away from home
The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I did not feel out of place. (Neighboring hotels do not have the same welcoming feel) my room was spacious, clean' and peaceful

False statements on hotel website: was advertised as a king bed, but actually only a double bed. Local shuttle was advertised, but nonexistent. Metro line ran right next to the hotel, so very noisy. Poor design of bathroom area, and lack of a night light forced me to turn on bright bathroom light that shined directly on bed and woke up spouse. At checkin they did not mention that there is NO maid service during your stay, unless you ask for it.
