Initially coaches by one of the university's Latin professors, the Arkansas Razorbacks have a rich history in college football dating back to 1894. Throughout the years Arkansas has been to numerous bowl games, claimed a National Championship, and won numerous accolades for what they've accomplished on the field. The team plays its home games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, AR.
The Razorbacks' name is derived from the wild hogs native to the state. The hogs are ill-tempered and fought anything in it's path, man or beast. Just like the wild hogs, the football team has had numerous run-ins with rivals, most notably the University of Missouri Tigers The two schools have a long-standing rivalry that dates back to 1906. The name of their rivalry "The Battle Line Rivalry" is derived from the state line between both Arkansas and Missouri, which divided the North and South during the Civil War.
Arkansas first met Texas A&M back in 1901. The Razorback and Aggies have played close to 80 times, with Arkansas ahead 42-33-3. The game is known as The Southwest Classic.
Whether you're Arkansas alumni, or looking to bring your young Razorback fans to the stadium, plenty of 2025 tickets are still available!
