Bonnaroo is a four-day music and arts festival that was founded in 2002. It takes place in Manchester, TN on a 700-acre farm known as Great Stage Park. Bonnaroo is a multi-genre festival and celebration of folk rock, jam bands, and well as a mix of indie rock, hip hop, and much more. Bonnaroo is one of the most well-known music festivals and is often at the top of many concert and festival goers bucket lists. Inspired by the music festivals of the 1960's and 70's, Bonnaroo draws massive crowds and has featured the likes of Phish, Tool, Lana Del Rey, Muse, and U2. Besides the great music acts, Bonnaroo has a variety of activities such as, graffiti classes, silent discos, comedy performances, and more. Bonnaroo is an all-encompassing festival that will make an unforgettable weekend experience.

Preparing for a lengthy music festival can be tough. It's recommended to bring a pair of boots. When it rains here, it can get very muddy! Bring a comfortable pair of sneakers. You're going to be doing a lot of walking and dancing. A hat, sunglasses, and bandana. You want something to protect you from the sun and dust/dirt. A flashlight. With over 70K attendees, it's easy to get lost and separated from your group. It's also important to know that no glass bottles are allowed inside the festival, so if you're bringing beverages, make sure they're in cans or plastic bottles.
As the name might suggest, Centeroo is the central area of Bonnaroo. It's the "nucleus" of the festival and where you will find the essentials. Open 24 hours a day, Centeroo functions as a meetup spot, as well as where you'll find dozens of vendors, food options, and cool-down stations.
TONS! Besides the music, Bonnaroo is packed with things to do. There is yoga classes, a 5K run, a beer festival known sa "Broo'ers Festival", a waterslide and fountain to cool off from the heat, a ferrish wheel, comedy shows, and TONS more. The Bonnaroo organizers have done a fantastic job at creating an event with something for everyone.
