Central Coast Kid friendly Vacations

The room was clean; however, it could benefit from better maintenance, particularly in the bathroom.

The Location of The Oaks is wonderful. Close to everything. Public FREE car park was fine. No need to pay extra for the paid parking. The Bed was comfortable, so we were glad of that. But the following let this lovely place down. When needing to extend our stay, the Reception gentleman was not friendly, quite rude, when I asked how are you, he said 'Very BUSY, what do you want!" This was a special occasion for my husband's 70th Birthday and I requested if possible a nice room on check-in. We only got one on the first floor. The view was obscured by the huge awning out front, and right in front of our deck were piles of cigarette buts from previous guests (and from above) who had filled the area with them, and items thrown from above down to our level. The curtains had mould on them. The air con needed an URGENT clean. The room was supposed to have daily servicing, but we were told by the same gentleman there was none included in our stay. The Lounge had huge stains on it from wet bottoms or something else? The pillows on lounge were dirty looking & OLD. The TV was maybe 24" and too small. Sadly, this could have been an amazing stay, but these things let it all down. I think OAKS can do better.

Very handy for stopover, easy to access, handy having RSL right next to rooms, good food. The rooms were comfortable but a little tired. Handy parking but having numerous beer kegs & pallets right outside your room door is not really a good look.
