As the largest panda base in the world, Chengdu Panda Base is a must-go place in Chengdu for you to take a close look at the rare and cute giant pandas. In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and be transferred to the Panda Breeding and Research Center, which is located about 10 kilometres (about 6 miles) north of downtown Chengdu, you will get there in about 50 minutes Panda base home to over 100 giant pandas. We will arrive here at about 9:00 a.m. when most of them are active. It is a perfect time to observe their living habits when they do different things--eating, snoozing, tumbling and climbing trees. There are also panda kindergartens and nursery rooms, where you can see many adorable baby pandas .
Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)

Afterwards, we’ll drive to Leshan, which is about 150 kilometres (93 miles) south of Chengdu. with a 2.5 hours drive. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Leshan. Leshan Giant Buddha enjoys a total height of 71 meters and boasts the reputation of the “NO.1 Buddha under Heaven”. It is constructed to bless the boatmen and enjoys a history of over 1,300 years. Besides climbing to the mountain top to have a closer look of the Giant Buddha, you can also go on a cruise to catch a panoramic view of the majestic Buddha statue. After finishing your visit at Leshan Giant Buddha, drive for about 40 minutes to Mount Emei. Overnight at the foot of Mount Emei.

Mount Emei (Emeishan)

Today we are beginning our hiking journey, with a hiking distance of approximately 10 kilometers. The entire route consists of stairs, and it will take us around 6-8 hours . Tonight, we will be staying at a guesthouse near Wan Nian Temple. As one of the few World Heritage Sites of both cultural and natural heritages, Mount Emei is an enchanted combination of lush forest and cultural relics. It is one of the Four Great Buddhist Mountains in China, also the home to 5000 kinds of plants (more than the total species in Europe) and over 2300 kinds of wild animals.

Emeishan

Today we will carry on our hiking to Leidongping. Wandering along the serene paths, you can appreciate beautiful scenery and soak yourself in the atmosphere of Buddhist Culture. Distance covered: 12km Activity hours: 6-7 Road conditions: Staires Overnight at Lei Dongping
Day 4: Mt Emei-Chengdu

Emeishan

Today ,we Will get up early,take a cable car to the Golden summit watch the sunrise. The Golden Summit (3077m) which is the biggest highlight and very essence of Mount Emei. There is a towering multi-faced golden statue (48m) of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. Next to the golden statue sits the bronze Huangzang Temple which is the first temple established on Mount Emei whose history can be traced back to the 1st century CE. You can stroll around the Golden Summit to explore Buddhist architecture and tradition, and enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Emei and surrounding. On clear days, you can even see the Mount Gongga (7556m), Asia’s largest table mountain - Wawu Mountain and winding rivers flowing through Emeishan city. If weather permits, you will have luck to enjoy its magnificent wonder of Cloud Sea. Afterwards ,we'll go back hotel to checkout , take Eco-Bus back to the tourist center. Your private car is ready to transfer you back to Chengdu (about 2.5~3hrs).
