Experience Florida's natural beauty on this 1,800-acre preserve of Shell Key . The preserve protects sensitive marine habitats and includes one of the county's largest undeveloped barrier islands as well as numerous mangrove islands and expansive sea grass beds. Shell Key Preserve is the perfect place to go for shelling. You can wander peacefully along the beach and collect sand dollars and other treasures from the sea.
