Overview

You will spend five days immersed in Eastern Madagascar, a stunning region where adventure is made of nature and discovery. Indeed, during this trip, you will meet the famous Aye-Aye, a critically endangered unique lemur mixing bat and rabbit and which can only be seen in the Eastern part of Madagascar. Either in Akanin'ny Nofy or Andasibe, you will also meet different kind of amphibians, birds and lemurs, including the biggest lemur of Madagascar: the Indri Indri that you will recognize by its extremely loud songs. Apart from lemurs, you will also enjoy relaxing and recharge your batteries in two of the last rainforests of Madagascar.

Day 1: Antananarivo-Manambato-Palmarium

Palmarium Hotel Ankanin'Nofy
You will drive on the RN2 (National Road n°2) to reach the Manambato village. You will then navigate the Canal des Pangalanes and three lakes before reaching Akanin'ny Nofy where you will spend the night. You will then take part in a night excursion to discover the famous Aye-Aye, a lemur with a very special appearance.

Palmarium Reserve

Royal Hill of Ambohimanga
