After you are finished walking through the chocolate factory with Gunars, you will enjoy a 7 piece tasting of our finished chocolate in our pavilion.
During the walkthrough of the chocolate factory, you will taste cocoa in various stages of production that are not normally available to the public.

What you can expect

Learn the inside story of how chocolate is made at Maui Ku‘ia Estate Chocolate from Founder and CEO, Dr. Gunars Valkirs.

Gunars will guide each group of chocolate lovers in an hour-long deep dive into chocolate making in our factory. During your experience, you will learn about every step of the process, and you will taste samples from intermediate steps along the way. After, you will enjoy a self-guided tasting of finished chocolate in our pavilion. Three of the chocolates will be from our Maui cacao and four others will be yours to select! For an additional charge, you can enjoy beverages to pair with your chocolate (or anything else from our menu). You will also be given a $25 gift card to spend as you wish.
