You will start your guided tour of Fez when you are taken care of at your accommodation. From there, you will start driving towards the captivating sites and the old monuments of this ancient city.

Your professional guide will start by taking you to the old heart of Fez, the old medina. Here, you can walk in the old narrow streets which are lined with small traditional shops selling the most enchanting craft objects and Moroccan articles made by hand. You will walk in the attractive charm of the medina, which can admire its colored streets and its rich lifestyle. You will soon find yourself in the largest and oldest tannery in Africa, the impressive “Chouara tannery”, where the real leather is shaped and naturally colored.

You will then continue your visit to the old schools in Fez. Founded in 859 AD by Fatima al-Fihri, the school is an incredible example of spectacular Arab architecture. You will then visit ancient Koranic schools such as “Medersa Bouanania” and “Medersa al-Attarine”, which was created by Sultan Uthman II Abu Said. Then you will visit the magnificent “Zaouia Moulay Idriss II”, the spectacular and sacred sanctuary of the founder of the medina of Fez. Then, you will go to the Nejjarine Museum of Arts and Wood Crafts, where you will have the pleasure of seeing decorated tiles, musical instruments and cedar raises sculpted in a complex way.

After a break for lunch, you will leave the old part of the old town to start discovering other magical wonders. You will visit the wonderful Royal Palace, which contains the formidable seven doors and has been perfectly made with the most captivating copper. Then you will go to the old Jewish district “Mellah” and in the gardens of Jnane Sabil. Here you can get some fresh air and admire the magnificent centered Moroccan fountains.
