Don’t miss the once-in-a-lifetime experience in Cape Town to share the water safely with the ocean’s top predators. Observe sharks in the wild from inside a tethered cage, with no diving experience needed.
Get in the water in a cage attached to the boat and duck your head below the surface to see underwater wildlife. Seal Island is home to a large population of fur seals that attract sharks to the area.
The spacious cage can easily take up to 10 people. Whilst in the cage, an in-house photographer will take photos and video of the group which can be purchased after the dive while enjoying some refreshments.
There is a chance to see bronze whaler sharks, seven gill, mako, and blue sharks, and if you are lucky, you may even see a great white shark cruising by in search of its next seal meal. If time and weather conditions allow, after your shark dive the boat will explore around the island to see the seals living there.
This shark experience is suitable for most people, with no diving experience necessary. Even non-confident swimmers can participate, with the cage at the surface and close to the boat.
