According to some historians, Tivoli, founded with the name of Tibur, has even more ancient origins than Rome: the small village born in 1215 BC. and the future capital of Italy... almost 400 years later, in 753 BC. The city sided with the Ghibellines to escape the hegemony of the Church... but it failed and in the 15th century. he returned under the Church.
