This Sunday there will be a new edition of the Stargazing at Ainos Astro Night in Kefalonia. We will start at the meeting point with a coffee or tea and Bougatsa. Then we will be picked up by a minibus or mini van and we will head to The National Park of Mount Ainos. We will be welcomed and we will listen to a general story about the stars and what can be expected during the Astro night. There will be 4.5-inch telescope (114 mm diameter primary mirror) on location and with them it will be possible to see stars, planets and the moon through it. Star nights in Ainos provide the participants an incredible experience of the starry sky. With the telescope(s) of the park, visitors can observe nebulae, clusters, planets and other night sky objects. With the use of a green laser, visitors learn to navigate the night sky and name stars and constellations. Afterwards you will be brought back with our transfer to the meeting point in Argostoli.
