What you can expect

Besides the deep blue waters of the surrounding sea, one of Gozo's treasures are its vineyards, unexpected to most, from which a ruby red wine is extracted.
The island is known for its wine production, which dates back to ancient times.
In Our Family Estate grow our own grapes to produce great wines with a particular Gozitan character. We are proud that most of our blends have been certified as GOZO D.O.K. Wines (Certified Denomination of Origin) which is the highest wine certification for Maltese wines.
Our wines are very delicate and well balanced. They are very fruity and full bodied, typical of our Mediterranean sunny climate and particular terroir. Actually our wines have the so called ‘Island Effect‘ presenting traces of salt on the palate.
The tour starts with an introduction on our family run business, history and traditions. This is followed by a tour of our winery and production facility including explanations on wine making, olive pressing, and the production of other traditional artisanal foods. Visitors will taste 4 different wines produced in our boutique winery.
The wine tasting is accompanied by an exceptional Gozitan Platter including some of our typical food items such as sweet sundried tomato paste, olives, Gozo peppered cheeselets, local smoked sausages and other local delicacies depending on seasonality.
Therefore when you are visiting Gozo come and enjoy this Tour we promise that you will not be disappointed!
